Late night happy hour!
Late night happy hour from 1-4 (?) I got there a little before 1 and frozen margaritas were 2.50 after 1. With salt, sour, not super boozy but defintely not from some add-water mix. Maybe not 100% fresh lime juice, but whatever, delish at 1 am. And there were some special food deals, too, but we went for guaco-loco chicken tacos, catfish tostada, chipotle wings (nicely spicy, not very saucy so a little dry, plus cooling bleu cheese dressing--yum). The catfish is good but a little bland; chipotle chicken and bean+rice fillings are good. The vegetarian chili is decent, too. I expect I'll try everything on the menu--good late-night food in the 'burg and a little more interesting and much less greasy than pizza. Woo San Loco!

AHHHH-mazing
I'm from Southern California, so to please my Mexican food appetite isn't easy. GucoLoco Tacos- AMAZING. Chipotle Chicken-Awesome. I got delievery, and it was a little pricy, but sooooo delicious. Limade too strong, but when watered down was good too.

mediocre
I went here one night, and they served 7-11 style nachos and salsa. The tacos were the equivalent.. I swear, it was totally bogus considering my inebriated state! I would say "don't go here" but I've had San Loco on a few occasions and its been fine in comparison.. I just won't go back to the Williamsburg location.

Love it
Everyone already knows that San Loco is the best, but I'll say it again. Veggie macho nachos, bean taco loco, homemade hot sauce, cheap drinks, 50 cent pool table, sweet staff, open late and a big & beautiful space. I'd rather go here that to a "real" bar. Who said their re-fried beans were bad? They are the best! A couple of things that could use improvement : I agree with what someone said about the catfish. It's really bland. I've tried it twice and wont order it again. Fish tacos are a dream but they just don't make em well here. I would suggest a grilled fish taco. Now we're talkin! Also, it gets really crowded around dinner time and there was a wait at the bar, the counter and the pool tables. Not a big deal but maybe a few extra staff during your busier hours of the night might help. Lastly, fans in the back room! A few games of pool and a couple tequilas can work up quite a sweat. Anyway, stay cool (hot) San Loco!

Thank G-D for San Loco!
I am so happy to have San Loco in Williamsburg, its about time. I love the cheap eats. The food is as close to TexMex as you can get this side of the Americas. Those used to "trendy-hipster" Mexican fare will not understand its low frills presentation and simple eats. I highly recommend the bean queso locos...and the guaco locos too just to mix it up. The space is awesome with a pool table and bar. San Loco is also open really late, what more do you need?
