delivery is quick and good. the only complaint (and my friends did warn me) is that the delivery guys always inspect their tip, and are not afraid to ask for more, which is really more annoying than anything else. favorites are the general tso's, cold sesame noodles, and vegetable dumplings. i also appreciate that they offer a choice of brown rice at no additional cost. eating in is also quick and delicious. it can get pretty loud, but you're not going there for the setting anyway.

The Chinese food is good. Especially the Steamed Little Juicy Buns (they're like dumplings). The atmosphere is not that good. It's very cramped, but once the food arrives, you forget about it because the food is so good.

I've been a fan of sammy's for years and can honestly say that It's food has never been better. Consistantly wonderful, and a great value (Try and get there during there lunch hours, the "Over Rice" meals are fantastic, cheap and HUGE) I recomend sammys to everyone I know. to eat here is to not be dissapointed.

I have been a Sammy's customer for years. Delivery is always prompt and arrives hot. The food is always fresh and consistent. I rate Sammy's one of the best, right up there with Ollie's in times square. Their authentic dishes and westernized dishes always please and exceed. Dining at the restaurant, the service is adequate and rushed. The place needs a facelift to bring it up to par with the great food they serve.

This place rocks--great value and great food all around. Their lunch specials are particularly good, you can pretty much get two full meals out of it for around $5!

The food is fabulous. With each visit we've tried something new on the menu, and were never disappointed. The prices are moderate and manageable. However, the service is hit or miss. We've encountered slow service as well as extremely wonderful and attentive service. To sum it up, the food is well worth the visit. I definitely recommend it.

I don't live in NYC any longer, but whenever I visit, I just have to eat at Sammy's. The food is fresh and delicious. No fresher noodles anywhere. The helpings are huge, so it's a terrific value. The space is a bit noisy, but that's to be expected since it is so popular. Two of my favorite dishes are the eggplant with garlic sauce, and, of course, chow fun noodles. Amazing. I'm kvelling now, just thinking of them. I just wish the wait staff was a little friendlier. A smile goes a long way.
