... and most reasonable lunch anywhere in New York, including Chinatown. Like many other restaurants they no longer bring cha to the table w/o your asking. But everything I've had (I'm a neighbor) has been high in quality and scrupulously flavored. Try the shrimp w/black bean sauce: a couple dozen quarter sized shrimp with onions and sweet/sour fresh cucumber in a delectable black bean sauce. The hungriest diner will find the white rice suffiicient to the appetite.

Today my friend Amanda and I decided to try out Sammy's. Since it was pouring it was nice to walk in and order some good comfort food. We ordered: Pork buns (ok, but the dough was too thick), spare ribs (pretty good), Chicken Fried Rice (this was a bit of a miss as the mystery meat and/or fat pieces that they used was terrible) and the Lo Mien... By far the Lo mein was the best thing on the menu! The Lo Mein was well seasoned, not dry plenty of sauce and well balanced. The noodles seemed freshly made at the restaurant which just took them over the top... So if you are going to go to Sammy's... Stick with the Noodles, I guarantee that you won't go wrong!

I have been off an on at Sammy's, it is a great place to eat. A really good place to eat, I dont mind trying somthing new there, but, their appetizers, great, I had the vegetable dumplings, thier General cho's chicken, really good, the beer selection is good to, American and Foriegn, The only thing I am not happy about is the following, they only give you a small bowl of rice, yet, the portions are very large.........

I ordered delivery and it was fast!! The guy was polite too!! I had chicken with string beans and my dad had Thai spicy cashew chicken. They were both delicious and the portions were big! We had leftovers! Good price too! I will order from there again for sure!!=)

If you tip $4 to a delivery guy regardless of how far you live from the restaurant or the size of the order, you are either not from new york, an idiot, or both. Awesome food, fast delivery, have never had a problem. Highly recommended.

you don't tip less then 4 bucks on a delivery in Manhattan no matter how close you live to the restaurant, you just don't. if you cant afford to tip more then your 2 bucks, pick it up.
