Poor service- just to give a glance, the waitress took 25 minutes to take our order, gave us attitude when we asked for a clean plate, gave our food to another table that came in after us, and then we had to sit and wait for them to prepare another meal- bad attitudes, and when we asked for the food to be boxed up, the waiter that took it away stuck his thumbs in our food as he was carrying it.

Have been here several times with several different people. They and I always rave. Whenever I visit them they insist that I bring take-out from Sammy's. Their soups are superb, The spare ribs are cut in half to make them more finger-food friendly. But th highlight is the fire power. Start with the Dan Dan noodles, a fiery little bowl of extremely spicy noodles topped with chopped peanuts -- simply delicious!! Then, if you dare, go on to the Shredden Beef with Hot Peppers -- a vitual avalanche of heat. Sometimes there are hig chunks of raw garlic inside, which are kinda hard to take, but the superb beef field laced with green chile landmines is a thrill for the tastebuds. Have a Tsingdao beer at the ready! Not to mention, all portions at this place are huge. This place is always packed and hopping, but it's a big place and I've never to wait for a table. The kitchen and staff are somehat frenzied, but they put the food out and give you enough space to enjoy your meal. I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, but this is worth the trek for me.

The food was GREAT. The sesame chicken was not fried for a change, but the flavor was great. And the wonton soup is excellent too. This is Chinese food that doesn't make you feel yucky after you eat it...finally!

Love this place. Delivery is fast and consistently good. Everything I've had here has been delicious. By far the best General Tso's chicken (and shrimp for that matter) that I've ever had...and I've had a lot. Lo Mein is also incredible. Portions are enormous. Easily enough for a second meal. The atmosphere is nothing much to write home about. It is, however, fast, clean, and a great quick meal. Lunch special is a steal, especially for the sheer quantity served. Easily my favorite Chinese in the area.

Even before I moved to NYC to fly out of here for work as a flight attendant, I was having Sammy's Roast Pork brought back to me in a care package by friends visiting here. The lunch specials are mana from heaven for bargain-hunters on a budget....quality, fresh ingredients and huge portions of food at most reasonable prices...and the brown rice option is great from time to time...the service is always quick and efficient. Take a group of friends to Sammy's for under $20 and they it will adopt it like you did. The Roast Pork and the Won Ton/Noodle Soups are treasures!

Sammy's has great wonton soup with noodles. Try the Roast Pork with wonton soup. Add Udon Noodles. The portions are large and this soup is filling. Also has very fast delivery. Good prices.

Fast service, great food, reasonable prices. The fried dumplings are great. The egg drop / wonton soup is wonderful. I order from them once a week and the quality is always consistant. Highly Recommended.
