    do NOT order from here

with an average quality and a ridiculously small amount for the money. Do not order delivery from here!

Good food, ridiculous prices! You can find food of the same quality for half the price!

The food is good, but I called to order an individual Chicken Parm, individual Baked Ziti and a side of plain spaghetti. They said $57.70. I called another Italian restaurant nearby with just as good food and got the same order for $28.20, about half the price.

Worth taking my time to review a special restaurant

This place does a GREAT job, it is rare to feel the kind of pride and enthusiasm in a restaurant in NYC. They have great food, I can't cook at home for this price! Service very attentive and friendly. Manager very accommodating and warm. It was a very nice night out and we booked a private party for an upcoming bday because we were so impressed.

    Gluten free and delicious ravioli

Loved the gluten free ravioli. The others thought the meal was good all though a bit expensive. They gave us a gluten free chocolate cake on the house - it was delicious! The waiter was cute and kind, if the restaurant had not calculated the tip - I would have given them more.

    Quite Pleasant Overall

This restaurant has what can fairly described as mixed reviews various complaints and praises for very minor to very major offenses. I took my family and in-laws (a party of 8) here for a Friday night dinner and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was by all standards, excellent. He reminded us that it was a family style restaurant and that we would likely only need about 4 dishes to share between the all of us after all was said and done everyone left quite full and we still had four containers of leftovers. The food was delicious, not the supreme king best of the best Italian food Ive ever had (a distinction I reserve for one restaurant in Philadelphia), but everyone in my party found the food to be delicious and satisfying. Everything tasted pretty fresh and the portion sizes were, again, colossal. The bill came to about $40 per person, with 4 entrees, 2 or 3appetizers, wine and dessert AND our server made sure to highlight on the bill that a gratuity had been added by the restaurant (which not every server would do). I have two very minor complaints. First, the butter that came out with the bread before our meal tasted very refrigerated, which doesn’t ruin my meal but fresher butter is always appreciated. Second, there was one server/food runner type who hovered around our table for too long. He kept standing about 4 feet away and staring at the table, approaching every few minutes to try to clear dishes. This guy was not our server (who again, was great) and if I went back I would make sure that he was nowhere near me kind of creepy really. Aside from that, I would recommend this place and return with enthusiasm.

now just a faded memory of greatness

we have been coming to this restaurant for years and this past visit was a HUGE disappointment! We waited for over a half hour for service after being seated and other tables had received their appetizers and entrees before we were served. When we complained we were told that our appetizers took longer to cook. Funny since the table next to us got the exact same appetizer. The food that finally arrived was inedible, the chicken was stringy and dry as a bone and the pasta tasted like it was heated up after sitting for half the day.

    great food

took my dad here, just the two of us. The place was full of life, laughter and yet, not too loud...our pasta rocked! I thought the salad we ordered could have used more dressing but was otherwise good wholesome stuff! Very family friendly and that's what I love about this place.
