Won't Come Back
Seafood not cooked in an appetizing way and overpriced. Ordered steak medium but got medium well. Unprofessional staff.

Classic steakhouse in heart of Village
Classic steakhouse without the classic steakhouse atmosphere--a plus in my book. I'm a fan of the ribeye--it's served bone in, the way I like it, and is big enough to choke Fred Flintstone. Coupled with a side of creamed spinach or french fries (cooked in duck fat!), and you've got a decadent, indulgent feast.

These guys get it
Ever since my last visit I've been thinking about going back. The quality of the food was superb and the staff made absolutely certain that my friend and I had an experience to remember. Danny Meyer would be proud.

Great food and vibe
This restaurant was great! We walked in unsuspecting and were blown away. Great food, great wine and vibe. Simple food, great flavor. Couldn't have have been happier. And the owner was killer! We'll be back.

Excellent
While it is off to a slow start, I think the word of mouth will do a lot for this place. I found the level of service and hospitality excellent, and the owner's oversight equally impressive. She is obviously very proud of the product she serves and well she should be. We need more restaurateurs with her level of care and concern for what they serve. And when you're serving steak, knowing where it comes from and how it is butchered is of paramount concern. It's not just about the bottom line, it's about the food. The night I was there I had the ribeye, which was grilled to perfection, tender beyond belief, and (the touchstone of an excellent rib cut and a tribute to her butcher) sans gristle, without an inordinate amount of interior fat content. It was definitely a prime cut of beef, and for only $40US, a great deal. I, for one, hope she can make a go of it at a difficult location.

We are steakhouse people....
This was great. The steak or the tuna. All good, and service was wondeeful. The owner herself came over to say hi. We were out without kids that evening - but they do have high chairs, and wil cook kid meals to order. The room is big enough with great acoustics - so no shushing required! Run there for something to eat!

Splendid addition to the neighborhood
Outstanding food, outstanding service, with an attentive staff. My filet was cooked perfectly and the others at our table raved about their salmon and duck. Don't forget to order sides! The spinach (sauteed and creamed) is so delicious it seems impossible to believe it's good for you! We are definitely going back.
