New Find
Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. We all had different dishes and were all very pleased! Portions were large and well worth the price. Service was excellent. Had passed the restaurant dozens of times and never tried it. Will surely be back for more!

Needs a new chef
We had a pasta dish with fish and the fish was like rubber. The veal chop while labelled a double cut was normal size, dry, tough and way over priced. Better places to get a much better meal

Great local restaurant
I've been to Salvi's many times. I've always enjoyed great food, warm atmosphere and excellent service. The specials are innovative and never a disappointment. The piano player is excellent and adds to an enjoyable dinner. I'll keep going back with friends and family.

Overpriced!
When the piano player is the best part of the restuarant you know there is a major problem here. Expensive menu, small portions and only "good" food. Maybe in Manhattan this works, but not for this Brooklyn guy.
