Tasty treat on UWS
A much needed Italian deli & small plates restaurant on the UWS. A nice atmosphere with friendly service. Always packed, so call early..

Arrogance and cynicism
The food is very good but overpriced considering that they want to move you out like you are in a fast food restaurant. The owner has to respect the customer , he seems to have contempt for his clientel.

Kinda Lika Italia
Despite the interior design that ranges from traditional Italian salumeria to underground German sex club, the food is ridiculously good. The waiter brings over a plate with a few sliced meats and a side of ricotta and you think this is dinner? But anybody who's been to Italy knows how much explosive flavor they pack into every tiny bite. Get the boar and the speck, they're crazy. And the ricotta di bufala, served with a side of honey and a spiced cherry is just incredible. Trust the chef - ask for the sampler and let him show off. I dare you to be disappointed here.

Nice surprise
Walked in for dinner this evening and had a wonderful meal. The plates are small but full of the flavors of Italy and their cured meats and cheese selection is amazing and ridiculously delicious. Everything we had was great from the spicy ribs and baked pasta to the yummy polenta with braised meat. Every plate left our table completely empty - just delicious. We can't wait to go back.
