can't-stop-eating good
I've been here twice: once for a rehearsal dinner and once just because. Both times, the food was amazing. I love their linguine, served in a bowl smeared with ricotta. And their market fish was excellently done. Also, the waitstaff gets major points for being understanding and helpful.

Fantastic Restaurant
We've been to Salt on several occasions - it's a great spot for a quiet dinner with a small group or on a date. The food is some of the best I've had in the city (or in my life, really). The serving sizes are generous, the food is delicious and the wine list is excellent. Sometimes gets super busy on the weekend, so call ahead!

Great meal
I went to Salt with four friends and we all enjoyed our meals. The cream of cauliflower soup was very good as well as the eggplant appetizer. I tried the chicken, which was delicious, slightly crispy on the outside and the puree was delicious as well. The hanger steak and duck were well received as well. The only down side is there are long tables which you have to share if it's crowded but we were lucky and it was pretty empty on a Wednesday night. It's a little pricey but you won't be disappointed.

yummy
We went expecting standard New American and came home satisfied and surprised! The place is small, warm, and cozy with lots of young people keeping it lively and exciting. We split 2 apps, the risotto and soup, and 1 entree, the duck, which was phenomenal start to finish. The wine selection was nice though pricey (our 1 bottle cost as much as all our food combined!) Overall it's the perfect little place to share any romantic meal or just meet for a drink with your girlfriend. A lovely night. Would love to go back!
