Salsa Y Salsa

I've been a resident of NYC for over 15 years and have ordered from a number of places and have never been more disappointed and disgusted than I am today. Aside from being dramatically overpriced, the food quality and presentation was dismal. Soggy cheese Quesadilla filled with a cheese like "substance" and whatever else the chef had lying around the kitchen. Queso Fundito that was a mix of rotten cheese product and spinach? And then to top it off, the Tortilla Soup, obviously made from a by product of dog food. This food was so bad, that not only did I throw it out immediately, I ran to pick up a piece that fell before my dog could eat it and get sick. Words cannot truly describe how awful this place is. Disgusting.

I had passed this place a million times and finally tried it today. I can't explain how unsatisfied I feel. Store bought tortillas and nachos with 2 tablespoons at most of ground beef on them. My friend had the fajitas and they were lackluster as well. The margaritas are all ice and mix barely any tequila. Stay away from this place if you want to have a good satisfying meal.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and have never been disappointed. The food is great and the prices are just right....but the drinks are the best! Oh and the service is A+, love the staff.....that's why I keep coming back....there are so amazing and accommodating.....and so much fun! Highly recommend......go today!

The food is great. The lunch special was great value and the food was good. I especially like the decor!

Freshest Mexican food the way it was meant to be. Soups are to die for. Festive decor and awesome margaritas accompany this great palate celebration of flavors. Thank God, there are places like that! Very reasonably priced.

Disappointing experience and food. The most disappointing chicken torta I've ever had. I could have made better at home, and I really don't cook. It had a miniscule amount of thin, flavorless chicken inside sloppy roll that was over flowing with lettuce, tomato and avocado slices, not even guacamole. It came with inedible fries that tasted like sour, old oil. The dish was garnished with a carrot and fried onions, that made no sense. Salsa and chips came with very little salsa, that was completely forgettable. The kitchen obviously needs better culinary skills! Service was inattentive and slow. I would not go back.

I wouldn't recommend it for delivery or take out. Maybe its a different experience in the restaurant after a few cervesas. It's expensive and was the saddest tamale I have ever seen. :( My boyfriend had been surfing all day, he was starving and we ended up throwing the food out. Super Bummed
