Good local pizza
We love Sal's and Mama Maria's, the Italian restaurant next door owned by the same family. The slices represent classic New York pizza, the staff is friendly and atmosphere is pleasant. We especially enjoyed going there during the final season of Lost!

disappointing
We just moved to Boerum Hill and ordered a mushroom pizza to be delivered. Too much cheese, hardly any sauce and mushrooms were slimey. I guess we will keep looking for decent pizza in the Boerum Hill area.

solid pizza
this is the best delivery pizza in the neighborhood. the staff is friendly and the food is good. if you're in the mood for standard pizza, this is the place to get it from.

As Good as Expected
I second everything redsauce said, and would like to add the lasagna to his/her list of favorites. It's the best in the area as far as red sauce italian is concerned, is relatively fast, and consistent. No, it's not 4 star cuisine, but that's not what you're after when you want some pasta and garlic bread. Perspective, y'all!

Solid option
Heyi t's red-sauce italian food, and the best place for this that I have found in the neighborhood. Delivery is timely, the pizza, pasta, and subs are pretty good, and there are no surprises. I recommend the cold antipasti, ceasar salad, and rigatoni vodka. Other than the wings, everything is really solid.

Great delivery comfort food
Been ordering from Sal's for the past 6 months and have never been dissapointed. Pizza is crowd pleasing and the wings are very good the ceasar salad has lots of dressing and best of all, delivery is fast and accurate. Every tenth pizza is free, which is fun. A solid choice for delivery.

subpar pizza
Please. Do yourself a favor and do NOT waste your time ordering pizza from Sal's. It is truly awful. It's like some sort of soup pie. There are plenty of other quality alternatives.
