I have been eating here for years. The service is very spotty. Some of the waiters are not very pleasant. However, we always go back because the food is delicious every time. The atmosphere is also nice and quiet and intimate. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just don't expect much from the wait staff.

The food rates a 10+ I came here in November to celebrate a birthday. All six of us sat in the private room and could not believe the level of service, but the best food in the world, as well. It is not your typical Middle Eastern food. The food is of the highest quality, flavor, and taste that I have ever experienced in my lifetime. If I am correct it is Syrian style. I am going back because there are so many more things I want to try and experience. I rate this restaurant 10+

have been coming here for years. it's a nice quiet place. a refreshing change from most restaurants where you have to yell to be heard. the food is fresh /delicious and reasonably priced. just discovered the bargain lunch. i hope they stay open forever!

i went to this restaurant hoping to sample the wonderful moroccan food I had when I visited morocco, to my dismay they are not moroccan and the few dishes they serve which could be called moroccan are made in a way they don't even resemble what I had in morocco. the food was dry and rationed, the pita (not moroccan) was stale but warmed up and served I bet from a day or two before. the service was slow. I wish I can say something nice about my experience in this restaurant but I just don't have any. I will never be back and i will definitely never recommend to friends.

We have eaten great Moroccan food both in Morocco and Paris; however, the couscous and tagines here are the least authentic we have ever encountered. The tagine didn't even come in a clay pot but was just lamb in a sauce with a little green unknown vegetable on top, served on a dinner plate. The couscous had hardly any vegetables, and there was barely a hint of the fabulous spices normally found in Moroccan food. My husband maintains that we were served warmed up leftovers. Everyone was very hospitable and the surroundings were cozy, but that can't make up for really inferior food.

I had the vegetarian lunch combo-plate. Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared and tasted very very fresh!

I have been to Salam multiple times and love it every time. The service is always wonderful, even on very busy evenings. The sangria is great and so is the food. I'm a huge fan of this place.
