Great lunch and catering
I've been coming here for a few years now, and it's always a great lunch place. It's indian, so it will be greasy, but it has a great selection and it is delicious. They usually have two desserts, so it's hard to pic. This is not the "best" indian restaurant in the city, but it is a really good one. They also can do catering for 15 or more people and they include a lot of food. One of our favorite catering places.

Not recommended
I was given a $30 buywithme coupon as a gift and ended up spending $74 in food and drink on lunch. However, before deducting the coupon, which they forgot to do even though I presented it before ordering, they charged the tax and an 18% service charge, basically ripping me off for $8.12. I think it was really ballsy to charge a service fee on a party of 2 diners. In addition, they didn't let you order the buffet, which is clearly what every other diner was having, when using the $30 coupon and their lunch prices would make for an expensive dinner menu at any Indian restaurant in the City - and we were having lunch. The tables are too close together The service was slow, especially in the beginning while we patiently awaited menus, and there was no reason to forget about the voucher. I only gave them a 1 because of the check calculation rip-off - other than that the service was ok. The food was adequate but very fattening and without a lot of flavor. I don't think a return visit is in my future.

Very Enjoyable Dinner
I don't know a lot about Indian food. I tend to order the same thing every time. On the night I dined at Salaam Bombay, I decided to try a prawns special, and it was very good. I don't know if it was authentic Indian food, and I will admit that the shrimp was slightly overcooked; but the sauce was out of this world ,as was the garlic bread we ordered. That, with the rice and the complimentary sauces, made for a delicious meal. My husband ordered off the menu, and the service could not have been more accomodating. Our meal was paced perfectly, and the staff was delightful. I look forward to going again to try other new Indian selections!

Crumbling Place, Oily Food
I ordered delivery which was a disaster. Based on many reviews we tried the Lunch buffet. We were rushed out, they removed the buffet with out letting us know. Food was cold & oil was floating on every dish.Nan bread came at the end of the meal. Place needs repairs. Might have been good once upon a time. Not any more!

Best Buffet in the city
As the title states Salaam Bombay has the best lunch buffet in the city. Also the restaurant has an amazing event space for parties.
