Took 2 years to find this

I have lived in Middle Village for a while now, and sampled nearly all of the sushi that downtown has to offer, from 15 East and Megu, to a hole in the wall on Bleecker. Sakura Hana hits the nail on the head when it comes to no-nonsense sushi. No frills, no scene....just seemed to be full of local regulars. We sampled all of the standards, and found everything to be perfectly fresh, and prepared with a smile. Everything was reasonably priced as well. That in itself is refreshing*... oh btw...stay away...this is my place now!

    Fast Delivery, Fresh Sushi

Just ordered some dinner - it was delivered in 15mins (which I think if fairly quick). I ordered a few rolls, some salad and soup - nothing too fancy. It's not your Megu or Bond Street - and it doesn't try to be that either. The fish was very fresh and the quality was pretty good, all for a good price. Yes, I'm happy with the food, but some reviews sound a bit too generous. All said, would definitely recommend the place.

    Secret No More

This is our favourite place to visit in the West Village. The sushi is significantly higher grade for a great price. Ask chef to a special roll for you. Spectacular, creative and unbeatable.

    Amazing

I love the food here fresh, delicious, and perfect. The crunchy toro is fantastic. The service is warm and friendly and if you're a regular, treat you like family. A quiet little neighborhood secret. I highly recommend their mochi ice cream to end the night.

The best sushi in lower Manhattan

I'm from the neighborhood and have eaten at the restaurant or ordered dinner from it many times over the past ten years. The sushi is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Lately when eating in, one is always brought a special sample of something new to taste. Their non-sushi items are just as good. Try the negamaki. " Also the unfiltered cold sake and you can't go wrong.

    Not horrible but not recommended

Not the freshest sushi. Crunchy salmon roll decent. Tuna roll was inedible (strong fishy odor and strong fishy flavor). Edamame was even soggy. Quick delivery, though. Try other sushi places before you try this one.

    Great Manhattan Sushi Spot

My girlfriend and I are very big sushi fans and spend a decent amount of time exploring what New York has to offer us in the ways of Japanese cuisine. We read the reviews of this place on menupages and decided since we were gonna be in the area that we should check it out. Definitely a great find. The staff was very friendly and perfectly willing to field any questions we had about the specials menu, which you should definitely not be afraid to explore. The Anthony Roll was great! The food was there nearly instantly. This probably had much to do with the fact that we were one of only three parties there at the time, but still... under 5 minutes on an order that was comprised of 6 rolls. The fish was all very fresh and the specials menu had some great combinations. I was also very happy to find that they had uni(sea urchin). Pretty much all sushi places have uni on the menu, but very few actually have it in. They did and it was great. Rolls were very reasonably priced given the quality and the area. Most standard rolls clocked in at about 3.75 to 5 dollars, with special rolls ranging from roughly 5 to 10. The atmosphere was nice. Not a huge place, but not cramped. I love that area, so I may be biased in saying it felt very comfortable. Overall, a great find with food that totally hit the spot for two people who had just worked a long day and were craving good sushi. Check it out.
