I was the guy with the 8 masago sushi! I ended up taking them home and finishing them off several hours later. The service here is pretty terrible. If you want anything you have to call the waiters over. To say that they're unenthusiastic would be a compliment. If you're going to eat there I would recommend sitting at the bar. The sushi is pretty middle of the road as well. For the price it's not bad, but sometimes the tuna can be slightly less than fresh and the uni is hit or miss. The scallop sushi seem to be pretty solid every time I order them. At the end of the day everything about Sake sushi is pretty middle of the road. Nothing is truly offensive, but it's not great either. It is what it is, but they're the only game in town. If you're in this neighborhood and you want sushi, you'll probably end up here.

Wow. Just wow. My family and I have patronized Sake Sushi ever since its opening week. As such, we’ve become accustomed to decent, reasonably priced sushi and excellent service when on the rare occurrence of dining in. I’m not sure whether they’ve changed management or what but, what an about-face! The hostess we were previously familiar with was a wonderfully polite and accommodating lady, never hesitating with a bright smile to check if everything is OK. However, upon entering an almost completely empty restaurant we were greeted with a blasé and dismissive and attitude. After we sat down, we attempted to order one of the listed sakes warm, to which the waitress promptly replied was not available warm—huh? I won’t go into the convoluted backstory other than to say we were never sure whether the $15 bottle we’d ordered was any different from the generic $7 “hot sake” listed under the drink menu—we should’ve requested half cold half warm to verify provenance. Shortly thereafter the only other in house diners were presented with their meal. When the platter was placed on the table, one customer humbly indicated that he had ordered not “8” masago sushi, but “a” masago sushi to which the (our) waitress aggressively replied, “no you order 8, maybe you take some to go”. He seemed to be taken aback a bit and actually said “I can never eat this much” and that was that. I wouldn’t be so quick to be fine with a $17.50 up charge but whatever. So we ordered our meal and things just went downhill from that point. No extra plates, nobody checking whether things were OK, no water and an overtly hostile staff So this will be our last time to ever give this restaurant our business, regrettably, because it’s been such a breath of fresh air in what’s previously been a Japanese restaurant desert.

Sake has the best quality sushi at this price point. We live near by and order delivery from them weekly, they are usually extremely quick with delivery. They're a real asset for the neighborhood.

I've had very good, fresh and reasonably priced sushi from this place, they're friendly and delivery quickly -- all in all, it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. (I gave them only 3.5 stars because I was very disappointed with their non-sushi dishes, like the thai noodle dishes. There's lots of other good thai places in the neighborhood, so I'll just stick to those for thai food!)

I'm so glad to have Sake in the neighborhood -- we've ordered for delivery about 5 times and every time it has been fresh, delicious and extremely affordable. This is high-quality fish, well-prepared and it's sooo cheap. I haven't been into the restaurant yet so can't comment on ambiance. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out.
