Very good value for price
Dishes are very authentic, and the price is superb for what you're getting. the sushi is very good and the choices are diverse for rolls. Be warned though, the seating is very limited as Sajis is located just off the corner or 109th and Broadway; probably around 8 or so seats. Takeout is a very attractive option.

really fresh
Great, really well-made sushi with really fresh fish. Consistently great service... except... they're always changing the menu!

great sushi spot in the hood
I recently starting eating Sushi, and while most places in the neighborhood are good, Saji's is by far one of the best Japanese places. Great service, food is always fresh and they now have brown rice. Plus it is a great deal. Delivery is quick

Calpis, Great Eel and Mackeral, Overwhelmed service staff
It is a small cramped takeout space that can barely handle takeout orders much less eat in. However, their mackeral is fresh, soups are good and MSG free, they have Calpis and the rice is fresh. It has been through several owners and each time the service gets worse, but the ingredients are good and well priced.

Best takeout sushi
Saji's rolls and sushi are consistently fresh and good. The lunch specials are a good deal since you get free mugicha (iced tea) included. Since its a hole-in-the-wall the best option is takeout. Saji's food is better than most sit-down sushi places and what all takout should aspire to.
