Saint's Alp Teahouse
Posted by Happy Diners on 11/26/2010
We love the bubble teas from St's Alp because nobody does it better! The hot beverages are very good too -- just let the wait staff know you'd like less or no sugar if you don't have a sweet tooth like me :) You can get food and finger snacks for almost nothing here. But they aren't necessarily the tastiest but there's nothing to complain because the prices are so low! Fast service but i find it a lil deafening if you sit in for too long because everyone is happily chatting away. Good location too because one of the buses just outside the shop brings me home, directly :)

I come here for the drinks only. Dont order anything with vegetables. I gave them so many chances, and each time I order something with vegetables in it, I find lots of sand in it; especially the shanghai vegetables.

I love this restaurant... It has the best bubble tea that I've had in NYC! Also, I love the pork chop over rice with minced pork. It tastes great, and it's an excellent value. As a side note, I visited one of the locations of this restaurant in its home territory of Hong Kong, and I was a bit disappointed with both the quality of the food and drink and the selection of menu items, which actually varies from this location.

I love this place. I used to go here with friends back when I went to NYU...the place is amazing and the staff is really nice. The bubble tea is yummy and so are the other items on the menu...try the melon shake and the lychee juice!!! I also love the condensed milk toast or hotcakes with peanut butter. Everything about this place is great!

I love the coffee here. The black tea is wonderful. You can sit here for a while and they don't bother you. Great service. Try the mocha coffee.

If you are a Bubble Tea Freak like me, then this is the place for you. A nice non-pretentious teahouse that has an awesome tea selection and some very interesting food items. It's a great place to go if you want to sit have something lite to eat and actually be able to hear the person across from you speak. The prices are very reasonable and service is very good.
