This was the perfect place to help fight off the cold weather! Delish, hot Pho with tender paper thin slices of beef and of course a round of spring rolls. Def ordering in next time as the place is tiny and has 6 stools in it. So gad I found Saiguette as winter descends upon us!

I used to love this place but recently their food is not well-made and often cold even if you ask them to make sure it's hot. And the service is pretty poor too your money is better spent elsewhere if you're looking for a good, hot meal.

We just had an excellent dinner delivered from Saiguette. Each dish came optimally packaged to insure that all the textures and flavors would be fresh when put onto our table. Our purchase came very quickly, despite the fact that we live 16 blocks and several avenues away from the resto. We had almost resigned ourselves to living without Vietnamese food after the demise of the Saigon Grill,* but now we can hardly wait to order from Saiguette again. If you live on the UWS, you have to give this place a try! (**Long live the mighty struggle of the SG working class!)

We love this place, right around the corner from us, and have ordered delivery at least once a week for years. There is no other good Vietnamese food in the neighborhood, and I think their meat rivals the best in the city. That's why we were so disappointed when last month, the meat portions which used to be quite generous suddenly became absurdly small. Like, three sad little strips of pork on my favorite bun, and miniature slices of brisket in the pho. When we called to complain, the very nice person on the phone apologized, but said the owner had instructed them to give less meat. We've left messages and asked to talk with the owner many times since, but haven't gotten a response. We would be so sad to stop ordering from this great little place, but unless we specifically beg and threaten with every order, we continue to get these ridiculous shreds. Hopefully the management will rethink this policy, which will only hurt it's business in the long run as they continue to alienate loyal customers.

Have ordered from here at least 30 times and it's always been excellent. Have asked for additions, subtractions, substitutions like any annoying UWSer and they've always been happy to accommodate. Ate in for the first time this week - there's only six barstools and limited counter space for dining but the place was clean and the service was friendly.

I had food drlivered but am certain that the atmosphere in the restaurant is fine because of the quality of the food and delivery service. Delivery was prompt, the food was carefully packaged, and the meal was really good. The bahn mi seemed three times thicker and heartier than Chinatown equivalents but the flavor, without being coarse, was great. I look forward to another lazy, order in, evening!!

This place is 2 blocks away and I'd been meaning to try it. A friend who lives in 90's discovered it walking home from my apt one day and told me it's her family's new favorite (wish my kids were this adventurous). My husband and I have ordered twice since. Chicken Laksa (on friend's reco) was spicy and delicious! Chicken Banh Hoi and Pork Stew also excellent. Sticky Rice/Red Curry Chicken Pouch was decent, although prob won't order it again. Got it to go with sm Laksa for meal, will prob try a different appy next time. The small Laksa is practically a meal in itself! Super fast delivery.
