I've been eating at saigon grill since they were a tiny hole in the wall on 87th and Broadway. With each expansion, (first to the east side and then relocating the west side) they maintained their excellence. since i've lived downtown it was always a trek... nonetheless always worthwhile. now they're 3 blocks away and the delivery is here within 10 minutes of hanging up the phone. so on point...and affordable. try the bo luc lak, la sa ga and #1 and #9 appetizers.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but we were pleasantly surprised to find great food, great atmosphere, great drinks and even better prices. We are going to be coming back often.

I looove the porkchops, calamari and sweet & sour sea bass! Great ambiance! At first, you'll be intimidated coz it looks like a $$$$ type of restaurant, but no! Prices are way too affordable for such great food and place. Highly recommended. I brought a lot of my friends to this place already.

I used to frequent the Saigon Grill in the UES on 2nd Ave when I lived uptown. I have been missing their food since I moved downtown 2 years ago. I was so happy to see their new location on University Place. I have eaten at the new place twice. Food, srvice and value are still excellent, and the new space feels very upscale...and it's huge! Full bar and all. Definitely recommended. I am trying them for delivery tonight. On the UES, it was always lightnening fast...hoping for the same.

The delivery is just as swift, the prices just as good, and best of all - the food tastes just as good! We recently moved downtown from the Upper West Side and were unimaginably happy when we saw that Saigon Grill moved downtown with us :) Keep it up!

I would eat shrimp bun xao everyday if my wife would let me.
