Went here today for dinner. What a great value and what great, fresh tasty food. Five of us had appetizers, the best spareribs in the world, shrimp summer rolls, big bowls of shrimp wonton soup with veggies and pineapple, and 5 entrees, 2 vegetarian noodle dishes, a grilled shrimp noodle dish with a lovely cucumber salad and great sauce with herbs, a grilled chicken with noodles and a grilled beef with noodles. We ate every bit and wished we had more , it was so good. Best part whole dinner , no alcohol but we had tea came to 90 bucks . For five people. So worth it and so good. We have been here twice in the past 3 weeks and will continue to go as often as possible. Sick of all these trendy , high priced, disappointing restaurants that try so hard to be authentic. This is the real thing.

It was an accidental food stop at University Place and had no expectations about the restaurant - but I was quite surprised! A hip young crowd, a line must mean the food is that good, and the ambiance was as chic as any restaurant that would charge $25 and up a plate - but the wait was not that bad in spite of the cramped waiting area, the service was prompt, and most important of all - the food was delicious. The Plum sauce grilled ribs were a hit as well as the steak and salmon dishes. Drinks were excellent as well. And the bonus - the price is quite a steal $10 on average per dish. The only drawback is their slim lackluster dessert menu but they can always augment that. I have been back there for a birthday party and recommended it to other people - the reviews are A+++.

Great food, no fuss and incredibly fast for takeout. All in all a great place.

I have not yet been disappointed. The food is great. Throw in the reasonably priced menu and the food is even better. I can't say much for the service, its not bad its not great.... but the atmosphere is pleasant. Place is much larger that I would have through. You should definitely check this place out.

This is a fabulous restaurant. I've eaten Vietnamese food all over from Chinatown to Flushing and this is pretty authentic. The prices are rock-bottom, the food comes out quickly, and the decor is tastefully done. I usually go for the chicken pho (which is great with shallots). Tonight I got the chicken satay (sate) which was amazingly moist, sweet, and flavorful. It was probablyone of the best, if not the best, satays I've ever had in NY. I also had the thai iced tea, which is a requisite if it's ever on the menu. My Vietnamese-Chinese friend also enjoyed everything and thought the food was authentic as well. The only thing lacking? Service. But hey, you can't have everything.

Have had lunch twice there. Each time service and food were great (pork chops, oxtail soup). Place is clean and decently decorated.
