    Mixed experiences.

It's been several years since I have re-ordered from this place because of a bad experience, but I have come across excellent reviews for Saigon Grill on this website. I decided to give this place another try. I ordered the baby greens salad, and the basil chicken. The salad was excellent - huge portion of mesculun greens, basil, cukes, tomatoes, carrot and peanuts, topped with taro chips. The basil chicken entree was good, but I would have preferred a thicker and more flavorful sauce. The brown rice was excellent. I would like to order from this restaurant again, but I do confess to still feeling a little trepidation.

    The Best Around

What more can you ask for? The food is always great. The new sushi pieces are huge and fresh. The delivery is the fastest around. The price is reasonable and they never try and screw you with little things. I love this place and I don't think I could offer a higher recommendation of any delivery place in my 10 years in the city.

    Best Vietnamese delivery

Consistently delicious. I order delivery from Saigon Grill 2-3 times a week and love every bite. Favorites include La Sa Tom soup, Summer Rolls and skewered chicken bonh hoi. You won't regret it.

the best ever, keep coming back

I've been going to Saigon Grill since way back when it was on Broadway. It's never let me down. The green papaya salad was my first discovery. Then came the Chao Tom, Curry Ga, and Bo Lu Lac. It's the best value in this city, where decent food will really set you back. Precisely for this reason it is crowded, and the waiters are always in a hurry. When they were at B'way they used to give you the check along with the food. It's not like that anymore, but definitely not a place to sit back and relax. Unless you're with a group. Then, you can make your own raucous and keep ordeing so they won't bring you the check and try to get your table.

    Good pick!

This place has great food and definitely worth the time! However, just beware: Dont let them take your plate before your finished eating!!!! It seems as though they want more customers rather then you enjoying your food.

    Excellent!

I have NEVER been to an eatery where EVERYTHING is soooo good! I even ate all of my vegetables! (I stopped eating veggies when my daughter left home!). The texture and flavor of their brown rice is awesome, and it doesn't taste seasoned. I don't eat plain/unseasoned rice, but I eat theirs! The ginger tea makes me want to go out and purchase a ton of ginger root! I have introduced several friends to Saigon Grill, and so far, all of them say that their Long Island Ice Tea is the best they've ever had (and they party a lot, too, so they should know!). My first time there, I was silent during my entire meal. Why? Because I, unexpectedly, WANTED to savor the flavors of my food! When one eats there, it's not for the sake of satisfying one's hunger, it's for the sake of enjoying one's meal! When we dine out, I think we become complacent with our meals, complacent with our meals, and simply accept it...just because! But dining at Saigon Grill, will awaken something in you that you didn't know you had! When was the last time you enjoyed everything on your plate? I now find myself fighting my desire (addiction?) of eating there, at least, once a week. I was in the neighborhood, yesterday, and fought myself from going there. Maybe I shouldn't fight it, and eat there everytime the urge hits me. Maybe I should eat there until I get sick of it. Yeah! Now that sounds like a plan!!
