Whenever we're in "The City" it's dinner or lunch at SG. When our son was living on the UWS, he ordered from there every night.. Ga Sate and the Iced Tea.. Now we do the same. The grilled salmon is excellent, as is the Bun Xao. A real taste experience!

Excellent dishes @ Saigon Grill. Especially the price you pay....pretty affordable price for awesome dishes. My favorite is grilled porkchops. They give 3 big chunk of porkchops, salad w/ yummy dressing for only $10. Every friends who tried porkchop felt in love with Saigon Grill. Would recommend highly.

I have ordered from this place many times and have only actually gone there to eat once but the food is always really good. The spring rolls are really good and so is the little salad and salad sauce that is included with your meal. I always get the "Big & tasty prawn" and I always like it a lot. It brings a lot of food, enough to split for dinner and then some for lunch the next day. It's also really good to replace your regualr white rice with the coconut, or sticky, rice. I really like the hot sauce that comes with the prawn but be careful, it's real hot! Don't take my word for it., try this place at least once and hopefully you'll like it too. (Try the prawn if you like shrimp, or seafood in general like me!) Bon Appetit!

I have a huge stack of delivery menus but I should throw them all away since I always just order saigon anyway. Everything you read is true. This place is great. The last time I ordered (my usual #3 Shrimp Summer Rolls and #67 Curry Tau Hu) it came in 16 minutes. Impressive since I live 11 blocks away. Saigon is hands down my favorite restaurant on the UWS. I especially enjoy the spring and summer rolls, crystal dumplings, basil chicken, curry tau hu and basil vegtables.

For the money you pay, it's a good deal. We order from here about twice a week. Most of the rice dishes are great but I would stay away from the noodle soups if you want the meal delivered. The food wasn't too fattening (except the deep fried items) and I would recommend the coconut sticky rice. The delivery is slow and the phone person seems a bit busy at times (expected, I suppose for a busy NYC restaurant). However, Saigon Grill is a good choice if you are not terribly hungry and have lots of time to wait for your delivery.

I'm always on the outlook for great Vietnamese food and finally I found it in NYC. It's by the best I've had in two boroughs (Brooklyn and Manhattan). The fried calamari appetizer was crunchy and not the least bit tough or oily. The accompanying dipping sauce was delicious. I had noodles for my main course, and it is exactly how I wanted it--spicy and full of good stuff like snowpeas, peanuts, etc, and a very nice portion to boot! I will definitely be returning with friends. When are they going to open a branch downtown?
