Try the black kale salad to start...it's unique and yummy. The pasta dishes I've had (four different ones) have all been delicious, although the papardella with veal ragu was my least favorite. Noodles were amazing, but the veal was dry.

    Great neighborhood restaurant

My boyfriend and I go to Saggio very often and we have never had a bad meal. The food is absolutely delicious. Saggio always features numerous specials, so we never eat the same thing twice. They have very nice, affordable house wine options, which always makes dining more pleasant and less expensive. We loves the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

    Pleasantly surpised

I ordered delivery for the first time from Saggio tonight and was pleasantly surprised. For this neighborhood, with its lackluster food options, this was very decent Italian food, nice portions for the money, and good service (nice on the phone and polite delivery dude). Very happy to have a decent delivery option....keep up the good work, Saggio!

Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

My wife and I love this restaurant! Hands down the best food on the block if not the area. Food is bold and consistently stellar. The specials can tend to be on the pricier side, but everything is fresh and made to order. Not to mention, the best pancakes I have ever had. We always bring out of town guests in and they are always impressed. The guys that own and run the place are a true class act and always make you feel like family.

    Awesome addition to the neighborhood!

Saggio is our new favorite place. We went for the first time in November and have been back several times since. The food is delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The pesto is wonderful, gnocchi are filling but not too heavy, the lamb ragu is amazing, the fig gelato is INCREDIBLE! The specials board is a little overwhelming b/c there are so many selections and the "crostini" are hit or miss. Avocado crostini is just smashed avocado (a lot of it) on a piece of bread with some red pepper flakes and olive oil. We are thrilled to have this restaurant in our 'hood. By far the best food up here. My friends from downtown come up here to eat at Saggio (including one from Italy:-)

I went there yesterday and won't be back...Although, place & service is OK, food's overpriced and could be much better, more varieties nedded...
