Not too shabby!
Their sushi is not all that. My standards are VERY high. It's edible but not great. Their Vietnamese is really good though. And it's quite convenient. It's great takeout but not a destination.

Great Vietnamese
The Vietnamese food here is great and healthy. The Bun is great, and the veggie fried rice is great and the portion is big enough for two people. I am glad they are in the hood.

Bun Xao with Pork
I have been dining here every now and then and on average its Vietnamese dishes tend to outshine its Japanese ones in quality. Its Bun Xao is quite good by neighborhood standards and comes in big portions too. Pho Bo and Oyako Don are also reasonable.

A real Saga After all
One of the only places to deliver past a 12 block radius to City College Area. Quite unsatisfactory... We ordered edamame, tiger roll, dragon roll, and Golden Dragon Roll. Let's just say I am able to get fresher raw fish at a Chinese deli. It seemed literally as if all the ingredients were premade and slapped together whilst charging $13.00 per "Special" roll. Edamame was lacking as well. The only up side was that delivery was fast. Then again, it felt like the sushi was made in 3.5 minutes. Rice was not fresh either. Not worth the decent money you'd spend... Better luck grabbing premade at your West Side/Garden of Eden/Whole Foods, etc.

It's Saigon Grill - uptown!
It's fine - some nights it's good, some nights it's just ok. It really depends on the chef. If you know Saigon Grill (with the whole delivery problem) than you know this menu since I understand it's the same owners. Prompt service, and when it's good - it's delicious. The appetizers are better at Saigon though - don't know why.

inconsistent
We always have friendly, attentive service. Most of the food is usually good, but I guess it depends on which night you go and who's cooking. The uncooked onions in their fried rice is not good, the tempura soggy. I enjoy the Pho, but it's nothing spectacular.

We love u Saga!
We have been eating at Saga since the day they opened. the food is always delish and great value. The staff always remember us and always take special care of us. They make yummy appetizers to tast gratis at the small but comfy sushi bar. We usually eat there with our children and they are very accomodating to them as well. Saga is always a good choice, wether you choose japanese or vietnamese, the fish is always the freshest in the neighborhood. Highly reccomend for families.
