    yummy

went here for the first time today and really enjoyed it. it is a small places, not alot of tables, but plenty of space for the people that were there. very casual, which i liked. the waiter was very nice and my food was out quickly. i ordered the breakfast sandwhich with an order a fruit from the brunch menu. it was sooo good and alot of food. i probably didnt need to order anything else, but couldnt resist. i ordered a side order of the meatballs and sauce which were great. i also ordrered the gym smoothie which was like the best smoothie i ever had and a brownie. i was very impressed and will go back!

    Great food, poor service

Great food, their brunch dishes and home fries especially. Their service is usually alright, but was absolutely inexcusable during one recent visit, where my party was sat down by a waitress to a table with no dishes cleared from the last people. When I drew attention to this, it took her another ten minutes to clear the table. After that, she didn't even wiped down the table. Whenever I made references to this or asked her to, she'd smile, say sorry, and hurry away, but never deal with the problem. It took twenty minutes for the tea we ordered to arrive. I could have went home and made a cup in that time. When the food did come though, it was as good as it always was. The waitress was not tipped, and if I ever see her working there again, I'll go somewhere else to eat.

    Declining Quality

I have been ordering pick-up and delivery for quite some time. I love the food-especially the heroes. Lately though, the heroes have been smaller and poorly prepared. Why should i pay ten bucks for carelessly thrown together, small sandwiches? Might stop going here after this.

    delicious!

I love this place! I've been here a few times, and everything is delicious. The black olive seitan is great- a little chewy, but in a sandwich, it's awesome! My two favorites entrees are the tapas salad (with cornmeal crusted brussel sprouts) and the meatball sub. All of the tapas are great, and listen to the waiter's recommendations- they really know whats good. Enjoy!

    Mixed Bag

The food is very good. The service is poor and it's not entirely the server's fault. It's a bad space for this restaurant. The kitchen is downstairs, the dining room is small and tight in more of a hallway than a room. The space requires seats so small they are uncomfortable. Because it is so small, there is usually only one waiter and when it's busy, be prepared to wait and wait and ask and ask and ask again. This restaurant deserves a bigger space. It can hire more servers and provide the service and comfortable experience food like this deserves. I hope they move. I bet their business would grow like mad.

    Poor service

My title says it all. The food is decent, though it all has a microwaved quality. The food is a little overpriced, I mean a sandwich consisting of bread and tofu should NOT run over $10 but it does here. But the service is really poor. I went for a small party, and the waiter couldn't handle it. He took over an hour to take our order, when we requested him to do so several times. I ordered drinks that never came (several times). And even though we were a party clearly in need of attention, he would sit and chat with his friends.

    Hmm...

I am not a vegan, which might explain why my various attempts to try the cuisine end up not entirely satisfying. I work right across the street from this, I will admit, absolutely adorable place. The lad behind the counter was extremely friendly and struck up a conversation with me, one that eventually led to my ordering shiitake mushrooms with sunflower seeds and a side of brown rice. I love all three of these ingredients, and after having finished them, have not had a stitch of hunger for over seven hours. However, there was something a little too penetrating about the smell of the dish; the earthiness and basicness was almost overwhelming. Not their fault of course; perhaps I'll try something more flavorful next time.
