Top 3
Not one of the prettiest places to look at but one of the best slices of pizza you can get in NY. In my opnion top three.

Good God I Probably Shouldn't Tell You
Glum, Crunch, glum...it's so good...Smack, Chomp, gLump.... cause with all the good reviews, I am worried there eventually won't be enough pizza for. Mostly I wanted to comment about the delivery discrepancy...NYC pizza is a finely crafted food, and you need to know the whole process, yes, part sauce, part cheese, part excellent crust, and of course, the reheat. Reheating (as well as thinness) is what gives NYC pizza its foldability. When you get delivery you don't get the reheat, like you do when you get a slice. Of course there is a simple solution. Let the pizza cool a little when Sacco's drops it off, heat up the oven, then put your slices on a cookie sheet, and reheat. It won't be as perfect as the pizzaria reheat cause their oven kicks the crap out of your efficiency stove, but it does help put some crispness into it. CHOMP!

Good and bad
Inconsistent...if i had to sum it up in word. Good and crispy one day then undercooked and soggy the next.

Awesome pizza
Great slices. Perfect amount of cheese, nice sauce, and a PERFECT NY style fresh thin crust. The joint is a total hole-in-wall dive. But it has its own flare. A place to grab a quick great slice. Not a place to "go" eat at. However, delivery is good. Prices are a little high, but they make a very nice NYC pie. The best in the 'hood.

Sacco's is the best
Sacco's is great! I have lived in the Hell's Kitchen area since 1994. Sacco's is by far the best, most unique, authentic and tasty neighborhood slice there is to be had. It is without a doubt one of the top three pizza places I've encountered in all of New York City, which says a lot for this hole in the wall. To say this pizza is "totally generic" is insane. Sacco's is a vestige of old-school New York pizza - when people cared about what they put out there. Sure the atmosphere is just a couple of booths in the back of a hot, small place... but the point of Sacco's is they make great pizza. This place is for real! Go there before they get forced out by some horrible chain!

Pretty Good, Better than Ray's
Let's get one thing straight, Joe's Pizza is one of the best in the City and Sacco's Pizza is pretty close. Sacco's Pizza is what NYC pizza is all about, the sauce is special & unique, the crust is thin and crispy, the cheese is tasty. Can't go wrong with $2 per slice!

A slice would be Nice..!
The best slice in the city. Bar none! Interestingly enough however, while it's obvious I enjoy a slice from the tiny, no atmosphere, authentic city pizza joint, I am not quite as impressed when having a pie delivered. I am not sure what happens in the transitional stages (pizza to box to doorstep) but I am rarely as impressed when a whole pie arrives. Still don't get me wrong it is the best pie in the hood but no longer the best in the city.
