tacos like on the street in mexico
this might not be nyc mexifusion, but the tacos taste just like being in mexico, the salsa's actually hot (tastes like habanero) and everything's fresh as can be. killer al pastor and good homemade mole.

Just OK
The sangria is sorta sour, and the food is nothing to go out of your way for. Wish these nice owners would get a good cook in there. A convenient place to go, though, after the amazing massages they have next door.

Simple tacos, great service, exceptional value
I usually get my fix from San Loco - cant believe I waited so long to try this place. If you like soft shell tacos, this is the perfect place. I ve only tried the tacos and thats what my review is focussed on- lots of great variety, everything is $2.95 or less and really fresh. I did do a pick up once but havent eaten there - small store front with a few tables, has a simple, clean look to it. Definitely a gem.

Superb!
Can't speak to the atmosphere since I ordered in. But let me tell you, the taco salad with chicken was glorious. Great guac, pico de gallo, sauteed peppers and onions, etc. And the tacos... just perfect. You really can't go wrong here.

So good
We have been looking for great Mexican take out in the East Village for a decade. This food was fresh, homeade, authentic, and healthy. The salsa was smokey and delicious and the chicken/pumpkin seed sauce burrito was out of this world. My husband ordered chorizo, roast pork, and steak soft tacos and raved about the quality of everything. A new favorite!

Cheap honest food
Very good pollo mole..very nice staff..reasonable price..the place is tiny but bright and cheerful
