    Gets better everytime

It has taken Rye a couple of months to really show what it can do. It had a soft opening that seemed to go on and on, but now that they have been fully outfitted for food and drinks, they are bringing home the bacon. The bartenders are incredible, with expansive knowledge of drinks of any sort. On top of this, they have a desire to teach anyone who wishes about every facet of liquor. They even sell a cordial made by one of the bartenders. The food is fantastic, although some meals are a little price-to-portion askew. I highly recommend and of the sandwiches, and the pork belly. I'm sure there is even more to come from a restaurant that is just getting into the swing of things.

    Overrated

I recently visited Rye and was disappointed after reading so many glowing reviews. The first problem was that they were out of most of their wines-by-the-glass, in addition to their sky high prices. We ordered the special fig salad with gorgonzola for $14, and were disappointed to receive a small plate with a few figs on a bed of chicory, merely decorated with gorgonzola. I had the lasagna for my main, which was pretty good. However, my partner ordered a fish dish that was very bland. Yes, it's a twee Williamsburg bistro, but it's also over-priced and overrated.

    Absolutely Amazing!!!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Had a Lobster Special the other day, that melted into an explosion of delicious flavours. My absolute favourite is the smoked sturgeon salad, the perfect combination of different flavours and textures. So far anything I tried was perfect.

    Good food, small portions

Great food - im a vegetarian and have to admit even though there was only one entree as an option for me, it was delicious. Only complaint was the price vs portion

    Caymons review

I went there with a friend of the business and enjoyed a wide variety of their amazing cocktails, and received a tour of the facility, everything they do is top notch and is, to me, Inconceivably attentive to quality, they even make their own ice! all in all, a great place to go, great pubby feal, i love it all, great food, gosh, a real experience =)

    What a dinner.

Ok, more people aren't reviewing this place because that want to keep it a secret. Beautiful room. Fantastic, Fantastic food. Amazing prices for what you are getting. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We toasted more than once to the fact that we were coming back. Thanks Rye for a fantastic meal.

    hidden gem

my boyfriend treated me to a nice dinner memorial day weekend. the place has a really nice vibe. they have a great cocktail menu. ordered drinks and then was told we had to wait 20 mins for a table. saw there were a few tables empty.. hostess came 5 mins later and said reservation canceled and we could now be seated. ordered the haddock which was good. the pork belly was excellent - served over broccoli rabe. the only complaint is the service isss sooooo sloowwwww... waited it seemed 40 mins for our mains to be served. and then ordered dessert which took another 15 mins to be served. great place, hopefully they will get quicker on the service. also they do take charge cards.
