Service could be better...
Cute irish bar/restaurant. Food is standard fare for such places. The service was fast. But, we didn't get a check, they just ran our card which had been behind the bar. When I asked for the breakdown of the check, to see what I was paying for I was told they lost it and could not reprint it? hello. Who just pays a total amount without seeing the actual check. When I made a slight issue of this, suddenly my check was available. Strange... To be honest, I think they wanted our table, wanted to rush us out and thought we were tourists who would tip poorly. Incorrect on both accounts. I always tip 20% at least. But on this occassion, I stiffed her with less than 10%. The tip reflected the service. If you cannot provide me with the courtesy of a check, then I canonot provide you with a decent tip. Heads up folks, just because you hear an accent does not mean that I don't work two blocks away...

A home away from home!
I love ryans! the title says it all. I spend enough time there to make it a home! great food, cheap drinks, amazing service and staff. Can't go wrong with that!

buzzed irish bar
this place is awesome......cheap and cheerful...went in for lunch last week as our usual had closed....sat at the bar and had one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had....wonderful service and the eye candy behind the bar was a treat too!!! great conversation and chat....all part of the irish charm I presume! looking forward to our return there soon

great little find in lower manhattan
We were looking for a less touristy place near the seaport and found this little place on a side street off Fulton. We keep going back. Great burgers, awesome service, cute pub atmosphere and prices much lower than 2 blocks away in the seaport area.

Great Food, Great Value
Work nearby in the financial district, came here for lunch with a work buddy. Had a cheddar bacon burger and an order of potato skins...absolutely fantastic...waitress was warm and helpful, it was much more than affordable, and we were in and out in 40 minutes...can't be beat, definitely recommend to any and all.

Local Favorite
I have been eating at Ryan's almost every week for years. Atmosphere is "pubby". Food is very good. Good portion size, great value. My favorite is the turkey bruger. I have also had the chicken pot pie (enough for two), most of the fish dishes and caesar salad with chicken. I wish they were open on the weekends.

A nice, cheerful place with good food in a comfortable atmosphere. It feels like a big living room.
