Pricey, small portions, crowded but good food

First the good -- the food is good for the area. Not the best I've had, but pretty solid for Hudson Heights. The bad - it's pricey and very cramped. One table next to another. Portions are small for the price. Pretty disappointed since we were hoping there would finally be a solid and reasonably priced tapas/bistro place.

    Delicious!

Amazing new restaurant uptown.! Delicious food, well curated menu, wine and cocktail list. Really cozy space (maybe a table or two too many) and lovely service. Well worth the price--high quality and portions are generous for tapas. Downtown quality uptown. The kitchen staff knows what they're doing, A great date place but perfect for solo eating too. I've been twice and will be back!

    Great neighborhood addition!

Really like this place. Great, inventive food, lovely waitstaff and wonderful ambience. I have been twice and plan to be a regular!

    Disappointing

This might be an okay place if they made some serious changes. WAY too many tables for such a tiny space - it felt extremely uncomfortable and claustrophobic, tables way too close together, and we weren't even there during a busy time. The dishes were quite small, which wouldn't be so bad if the prices were a bit lower, but $21 for a couple of small strips of steak is a little nuts. And though the waitress warned us when we came in that the dishes would come out at different times, it was still pretty annoying to get each one five to ten minutes apart. All in all, it wasn't the poorest dining experience ever, but I probably won't go back.
