A wide range of good choices

Rue 57's menu spans runs the gamut from sushi to French and Italian dishes to hamburgers. The sushi offerings are inventive-and very good. The Thai spicy tuna roll is an excellent choice if you like spicy, and the Red Dragon eel roll artfully pairs tuna and eel. The hamburgers are excellent as well. The desserts are excellent-the Valhrona molten chocolate cake is highly recommended. It can be a little loud, but it's not overwhelming, and the decor is very nice. an excellent spot-everyone is guaranteed to find something on the menu to their liking

    beats long island!

excellent Friday nite pre-Carnegie Hall show! Wonderful Mojito, fantastic raw tuna, perfect Irish waiter and prices beat Long Island by far!

    Good but pricey

We went there for brunch today. I ate the omelette lyon (w/ saussage brie and roasted red peppers), he ate the benedict. the benedict was served on a toasted croissant (the french truly have no butter boundaries) and was delicious. the omelette lyon was also quite good but very heavy...theymust have used 4 eggs! the complementary bread was a perfect french bread! overall, it was very good but expensive. The total bill including tax and tip was $42 (2 brunch entrees and 2 coffees....no drinks!). much better brunch deals are available in the area (vinyl).

    Wonderful breakfast

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. The french toast was absolutely delicious! We were seated quickly and waited on promptly.

    Nice but slow

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Forgot how busy these places get for breakfast. Seated really quickly and with no reservation! But found out there was only 2 coffee pots for the whole restaurant. There was a constant queue at the door and service was very slow, the coffee was cold by the time we managed to get milk and sugar. But saying that the food was very good when it arrived. Eggs benedict were very tasty. Would eat there again just to see if they have found more coffee pots ;-)
