I loove this place!
I guess this has changed hands since the reviews below that call this place "Ruby's". I can't speak to Ruby's, but Asiam is awesome. First, the people there are really nice. Second, the food is great- I'm pretty sure they use fresh vegetables, and not from a can.... This is seriously some of the best Thai in the area (my other favorite is Mini Thai Cafe on A). Laslty, they frequently have instant groupons. So last night, I paid $15 for $30 worth of food. We were able to use it on the pre fixe dinner that costs $13.95, which includes a soup, salad, appetizer, entree and dessert . My boyfriend and I each got one, so in essence we paid $15 for two 5 course meals. Totally worth it!

Not recommended
First of all when I called the woman who answered it took exactly 8 minutes to take my order. I repeated myself 20 times and when I hung up she called me back to make sure it was right..it wasnt. I had to remind her for the 21st time that I wanted 3 rolls not 2. When the food came it was subpar. the soup was halfway full, my chicken teriyaki was awful, the chicken was just a whole piece of chicken breast sliced and not even completely because I had to recut the pieces apart. My husband's sushi was wrong and he ate 1/5 of a roll out of 3. We ordered pizza 5 minutes after this food came.

love love love ruby's
we avoided ruby's for awhile when they first opened - it looked like your average greasy pan-asian place. i forget what first made us try them but since then we get delivery from here at least once a week. the kimao noodles here are the best i've had anywhere, and the bangkok wings are delicious. by far the best thai delivery spot in the area (and we've tried them all). our only complaint is that they are closed on sundays - why oh why do you deprive me of kimao on sundays??

Pretty Bad
I have lived across the street from this restaurant for 4 years now and would love to be able to write a good review. I have eaten there maybe 6 times, always hoping that the closest restaurant to my apartment has some how improved in quality. I am always disappointed.

Not Greasy
I second the reviewer below who wrote about the Ki Mao dish. The vegetables in it were not overcooked and there was a good amount of variety such as green, red and hot peppers. The dish was not too salty and not greasy at all. I went in the afternoon when it was pretty quiet but the server there was attentive by refilling my water every few minutes and taking away my plates right after I finished eating. I also had the Tom Yum soup and the small was a good size, much bigger than I thought it would be. I could definitely see this being on my list of regularly visited places.

Best thai in area
Even though Ruby's is more expensive than standard thai places, one gets a lot more food. I had my doubts seeing that it was a japanese and thai place but the thai really delivered.

great!
i was hungry and got caught in the storm this weekend and ducked in here. Can't believe i haven't heard about this place. The Thai food was great. Service was fast. I like how when you order the lunch special, it comes with a salad and little spring roll. And, they have Sapporo beer and not just the usual Singha. I can't wait to go back
