I've been to Ruby Foo's twice and both times were great. There is a nice mix on the menue, the wait staff was attentive and had a good sense of humor, and the drinks were fantastic. I really enjoyed the Asian Margarita and have been trying to recreate it at home with no success. So....I guess I'll have to go back soon!

I was first taken here with some co-workers, and liked it so much that I took my sister back several weeks later, and she loved it too. I normally avoid all Times Square restuarants, because of the crowds, but the food here is excellent and the waiters are attentive. Additionally, all of those tourists make for some good entertainment! The calamari was nice and crispy. All of the dipping sauces are great. The sushi rolls are inventive -- ingredients like mango, things I couldn't get in a roll at my corner sushi restaurant. My sister loves the green tea sandwich for dessert, and I personally like the bento box dessert (a sampler). However, definitely make a reservation, and be prepared to wait anyway. I don't mind waiting for good food, especially in NYC, and neither should you!

Definitely a tourist trap. Went looking for Dim Sum in midtown as Shun Lee Cafe was closed for the day. Only a few expensive dim sum items on menu, no carts! Sushi item was good but Pad Thai was one of the worst I've ever tried and the most expensive. I would not return to this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone. Read "Pan Asian" as "diverse menu with no specialty."

The atmosphere and decor are nice, but the food is terrible. Our appetizers and main entrees came out cold. They tasted just ok, but the price is outrangeous. It is a tourists' trap for sure.

This was our third dinner at Ruby Foo's in Times Square and it was just as pleasant as the first time. We tried the assorted dim sum as well as the spring roll appetizers and they were wonderful. The sushi was fresh and delicious as were the other dishes: Green Curry Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki. As for the dessert...the Bento Box was once again a hit!! Be sure to leave room for it. The waitstaff were pleasant and could not have been more attentive. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys asian fusion food.
