First time I ate at Roxy's I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered an omelet and my husband ordered the BLT. The omelet was certainly subpar, I've had excellent omelets at NYC for a fraction of the price. My husband's BLT left him wanting more food. It's certainly surprising at Roxy's where the sandwiches are huge! The waitress was also short with us. For that kind of price? No way. I expect a certain level of food and service for 18 dollar omelets and 14 dollar BLT. And look, it's 2 hours later and I'm hungry again.

My Wife and I went to NY for our Anniversary. It was my first trip to the Big Apple, but defintely not my last!!! Our first night we went to Roxy's. It was GREAT!! I had the Rueben. There was a pound of meat on this thing. I couldn't finish it all. We went back the next day for the cheesecake. The Apple Caramel Struesal was unbelievable, as was the Orea cheesecake. BEST IN THE WORLD!!! Oh, and by the way, I didn't mind the prices. I figure you get what you pay for. Also left 20% tip each time.

My friends and I were on a band trip to NY a couple years ago, and we decided to stop in at the Roxy. Our waiter was actually very friendly (despite others' reviews), and the cheesecake was scrumptious. The only downfall is the prices. My mom makes better cheesecake than that for free!

I no longer live in New York, but I still make it to the Roxy when I get back. Usually to buy a frozen cheesecake to go to bring back to Colorado with me. Yes, it is expensive, but price should not be everything. For cheesecake, it's either Roxy or Lindy's, and Lindy's has slipped recently, in my opinion. The expense, therefore, is worth it. I'm flying back tomorrow, and will be at the Roxy for lunch Saturday.

this was the most ridiculous sandwich I have ever had and for the price you pay..it isn't worth it..then to top it off the waiter actually threw the pickles and coleslaw across the table and slammed the cans of coke on the table and after all was said and done he ripped us off when we paid...be careful when paying at this "deli" make sure you count out the money before the waiter leaves with it...b/c he'll come back wanting more money for a tip for the subpar service he gave..I would not recommend going to this "deli" for anyone. Major disappointment for the money you spend.

We went to the Roxy after seeing a recommendation on the TV in our hotel. We ordered 2 coffees for us, and a hot chocolate for our son. The waitress brought us back 1 coffee, 1 OJ, and a Hot Chocolate with a straw in it. Seeing the straw, my wife took a big sip, burning the back of her throat. (luckily it wasn't our son) When we mentioned to the waitress that she had brought the wrong order, we got major attitude. Next we ordered breakfast at 10:58am. Technically breakfast ends at 11a, but we had to order from the regular, more expensive menu. The omelet we ordered from the lunch menu specifically comes with french fries. When she brought it with nasty looking home fried potatoes, we asked her to have the french fries instead (as the menu said) She told us she brought the home fries because "that's what they had left from breakfast". She did finally bring the french fries after she made me scoop the home fries off of my already eaten on plate to a new plate to go back to the kitchen. I'm not sure who ended up with my home fries after I got them, and don't really want to know if anyone had them before me.
