My sister and I took our first trip to NYC in December of 08, and it was our first sister vacation ever! We didn't have a solid plan when we left so we just had to decide on the fly where we were going to eat. We decided to try Roxy's and we have been looking forward to going back since then. We were only in NYC for 3 days that time and ate two meals at Roxy's. It is a little expensive, but the Chicken Salad Sandwich was Too Die For. There is a 3.00 sharing charge, but really people it is NYC. We are going back in two weeks and are planning on doing lunch at Roxy's on Day 1. CANT WAIT!!

We loved Roxy's Cheesecake. My family vacationed in NY. We all had to have our own slice of cheesecake. The slices of cheesecake were so big that we couldn't eat it all. We all agree that it was absolutely delish!

Went in for a quick piece of cheesecake and was totally disappointed...it was warm! Service was not great, the waiter was hovering over us when we signed the credit card receipt. Great location in Times Square, but the restaurant needed a good cleaning.

Roxy's has the BEST cheesecake I have ever had. I don't miss going for my slice of strawberry cheesecake whenever I'm in NY. The price is a little steep, but it's worth every penny.

Sad to say that this place had very expensive desserts that were nothing special at all. Also, the pizza was so bad that I didn't bother to finish and I am not that particular about pizza. I brought several people with me and I was embarrased I suggested it. Should have tried it out first. Lesson learned.

My husband, myself and my year old stopped in for breakfast. Yes, the food is very expensive, but everything in NYC is overpriced. It is a toursit destination, so expect to shell out the bucks. The food, especially the hash browns, was devine- I will be dreaming about them for a long time! Everything was hot, the staff aren't out of this world friendly, but who cares-I am there to enjoy the company of my family, not the waitstaff! It's worth a try, so judge for yourself- at least have a pastry!!

I've read a couple of reviews and feel very bad for the people who were not delighted with the Roxy. I never leave the city without visiting the Roxy, usually for lunch. I was in NY this passed Sunday (3/21/10) and had lunch at the Roxy of course. Their chopped liver is the best in the world; even better than my own. Since it took me almost an hour and a half to eat my 1 1/2 pounds of chopped liver, the 4 waiters upstairs were constantly coming by to check on my progress which also made lunch fun.
