Doesn't anyone say "Thank you" anymore?

The cheesecake was THE BEST! A bit crowded for seating, not for the bashful tourist. The waiters were fast, especially for 10:30PM, but had little or no personality. Even when I paid the bill, the gentleman at the register never looked up, asked "How was everything?" or even a "Thank you". But the cheesecake and coffee were worth any inconvenience!

Best onion rings in New York

Great place if you are a tourist! Every time i go to NYC I have to stop in and have the onion rings. The portions are huge and the onion rings look like donuts. The onion rings alone could be a meal. The sandwichs are huge and can be shared. I love the FOOT long hot dog. Expensive for a deli, but portions are huge so dishes can be shared. Worth a quick stop after walking or shopping all day!

    Worth the stop

The cheesecake alone is worth waiting for a table. We expected to pay a premium price for everything in Manhattan so we weren't shocked. If you're looking for Omaha prices, stay home. It's a great place to people watch, everyone is a tourist.

Break the Piggy Bank & Enjoy

Every year we go to NYC for a shopping trip. And usually 2 weeks prior all we can think about is Roxy's Deli (the Pastrami on Rye, Roxy's Rueben with French Fries, and yes the $2.50 coffee)- It is the best Deli and the Greatest Food ever. It is worth the experience. It is expensive, but what isn't in Manhattan. Our hats off to Roxy's and it's sister restaurants. :) You haven't lived if you do not eat there!

    Expensive but definitely worth it

We were in New York City for 2 1/2 days. We ate at Roxy's twice. The food was expensive, but well worth it. The cheesecake was to die for.

    Not Worth Stopping In

My husband and I had walked by Roxy several days in a row and admired their cheesecake in the window, so we finally decided to stop in...big mistake. The cheesecake was huge (we should have shared one piece), but not good. I had the banana carmel frost and the banana flavoring was overwhelming. The atmosphere is about what you'd expect in a NYC deli. The service was poor and our waiter was rude. I wouldn't recommend stopping here, no matter how good their cheesecake looks.

    Too expensive for a Deli

I've eaten in many NYC resturants & Deli's. This one is simply to expensive. A hot dog & fries was around $15.00. The food was OK. The service OK. The table small and cramped. We had to flag our server down when we needed something. 1 dish was not properly cooked so it had to be sent back. (Which they did with no problem.) You can find a much better resturant for this kind of money, even in NYC.
