Honeymoon Cheescake!
My husband and I spent a day touring NYC on our honeymoon. We stopped by Roxy's and got a piece of the plain cheesecake to take back to our condo. We enjoyed every last bite! It was THE BEST cheesecake we have ever had. We live in Seattle and have tried to find something like it... no way! I would love to order a whole cake and have it shipped!

Our visit to Roxy's in the new year 2005
This place was always very busy morning noon and night. Lots of waiters running around and the food portions are BIG! Well advised to share than end up feeling ill looking at all that food leftover! Try their sandwiches- like everything else on their menu they're BIG! Had a very friendly indian(sikh) waiter called Jasi. Would go back again and the NY cheesecake is really BIG and CREAMY! Have fun.......we did.

Fabulous!
We were in New York over Xmas weekend. We ended up at Roxy's 3 different times! Each time was better than the one before. We went to Sardi's and Lindy's for cheesecake...didn't care for either one. Our last shot at good New York Cheesecake was at Roxy's...finally, a WINNER! Great food, huge portions! Can't wait to return! Would suggest this place to everyone.

Doesn't anyone say "Thank you" anymore?
The cheesecake was THE BEST! A bit crowded for seating, not for the bashful tourist. The waiters were fast, especially for 10:30PM, but had little or no personality. Even when I paid the bill, the gentleman at the register never looked up, asked "How was everything?" or even a "Thank you". But the cheesecake and coffee were worth any inconvenience!

Best onion rings in New York
Great place if you are a tourist! Every time i go to NYC I have to stop in and have the onion rings. The portions are huge and the onion rings look like donuts. The onion rings alone could be a meal. The sandwichs are huge and can be shared. I love the FOOT long hot dog. Expensive for a deli, but portions are huge so dishes can be shared. Worth a quick stop after walking or shopping all day!

Worth the stop
The cheesecake alone is worth waiting for a table. We expected to pay a premium price for everything in Manhattan so we weren't shocked. If you're looking for Omaha prices, stay home. It's a great place to people watch, everyone is a tourist.

Break the Piggy Bank & Enjoy
Every year we go to NYC for a shopping trip. And usually 2 weeks prior all we can think about is Roxy's Deli (the Pastrami on Rye, Roxy's Rueben with French Fries, and yes the $2.50 coffee)- It is the best Deli and the Greatest Food ever. It is worth the experience. It is expensive, but what isn't in Manhattan. Our hats off to Roxy's and it's sister restaurants. :) You haven't lived if you do not eat there!
