My wife and I went into this "Deli", a bit pressed for time due to a tour of Manhattan. We probably should have just walked out. When we saw the prices, I actually laughed, and I told my wife that this is the most overpriced menu I have ever seen! Well, we had a couple of chocolate cigars and 2 coffees, and were charged about $ 22!. The atmosphere is mediocre, the wait staff seems indifferent... the food, well we'll never really know, 'cause the next time we come to NYC, we will NOT be visiting this place.

i saw this delicatessen on tv. the sandwiches looked delicious, they actually tasted great too. however the tables and the seating was terrible, we had a new waiter who was also terrible.

We were vacationing in NYC for Spring Break and we wanted to eat before we saw the musical Chicago. The Roxy seemed appealing, but we found it to be far from that. I understand it is going to be expensive, but we did not get our money's worth. We expected a dinner we normally wouldn't treat ourselves to, something extra special. However, the food was just average if not less. And we went there because we were in a rush, so we got food that should be prepared quickly. It took long for our salads and the waiter never came during the meal to see if we wanted refills. He basically took our order, brought food, and then the check. And the place wasn't busy, so there was no need for that. He didn't become welcoming until it was time for his tip. We will never go back there again.

As former New Yorkers, eating at Roxy is always a tradition when we visit the city. The food is excellent, portions gigantic, and the wait staff and atmosphere can't be beat! Located in the heart of the theater district and close to other great attractions. So...come with a big appetite and be sure to leave room for one of their many scrumptious desserts!

The food, service and atmosphere were average. The whipped cream cheese cake however was the most delicous dessert ever. whoa it was undescribable...

Although the restaurant is crowded and you may have to share a 4 top table with another couple, you can't beat the food for the price. Not only is the breakfast fantastic, but the lunch is amazing. One sandwich is enough to feed 3 people. Come hungry!

We were in Roxy's on 4/15/07. Came in out of the rain. Had a great French Onion Soup, burger, and potatoe pancakes. Carried on with the waiters and had fun with them. Good food and fun waiters. Not the experience others seem to have had. Did wait for a booth downstairs because of not being able to go upstairs. I will go back.
