i was recently in Nyork was ready for a bite to eat, along with a friend we choose roxy only because it was close to location we had just left. i ordered a BLT club sandwich and my friend ordered their roast beef , my club sandwich was the worst club sandwich i had ever had, the bacon apeared to have been over week old maybe longer, surprised i did not get sick, the bacon was not even chewable, or you could not even chew the bacon, my friend tried it and realized why i was not eating my order, i could not even eat the sandwich at all and the price for the sandwich was outrageous- 23.00 dollars for a club sandwich, i basically did not attempt to eat the sandwich after i tried the 1st bite and realized how bad it taste, and the bacon was not eatable at all, the roast beef my friend had at a cost of 25.00 was not as bad as the BLT Club, but my friend advised she was not impressed with her order as well. I decided to eat the nuts my friend had in her bag, as i know i could not eat the BLT club sandwich i felt i would have been sick from this order if i had consumed my order. . food very bad, and cost of food outrageous , left the restaurant hungry very disapointed- will never go their again, I should not have even been charged for what they call a BLT CLUB- i hope they are asked how long food sits around, , before it is served, as my bacon apears and looked liked it was very old and had been week old or longer taste like rubber- The waiter noticed i ate nothing on my plate, but did not bother to ask if the food was okay- do not consider this place at all VERY Disapointed- will let every one know about my experience ---Disapointed!!!

    Cheesecake

Everytime I visit N.Y.C. I stay in the Theater District where you will find Roxy Delicatessen. I must say I've never eaten a meal there but the wonderful desserts in the window call my name. I can never resist a slice of their cheesecake. It's very expensive (aorund $10 a slice) but I hear good cheese cake is expensive anywhere you go in NewYork.

    Tourist Trap Deluxe

A co-worker recommended this deli, so we went there for breakfast. After ordering tea and coffee, we looked at the menu -- $15.95 for a bagel with salmon!! We decided not to order anything to eat and were lucky to leave there only paying $8.00 for our drinks. Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off.

    Well...it was okay. Just okay.

My daughter and I went to the Roxy after a show. She ordered a BLT and I ordered a pastrami sandwich, after a recommendation from our waiter. My daughter's sandwich came out and was awesome to look at, but she said it was more of a salad on bread than a sandwich. My sandwich was HUGE, but it was very very fatty. I had a side of coleslaw that had a nickel-sized hardened piece of sugar in it. Now, things happen, but when I mentioned this to the waiter more as a "you might want to be careful with this, especially since it could be a choking hazard" he totally dismissed it. I wasn't trying to get out of paying for my food; I was trying to help them out. Anyway, I after getting two cans of Coke ($4.50 a piece) and two sandwiches that came with coleslaw and a pickle, with a bill totaling $45.07, I would rather order sandwiches at Wawa. No joke. The experience wasn't awful, but it was okay. Just okay.

    Love Roxy's cheesecake and food

When we think of NYC we think of Roxy's cheesecake! We stay at a hotel nearby so that we have easy access to Roxy's and the theatre district. It's so NY atmosphere. Tight, noisey, but very fun.

Just went to Roxy s today. The're is a reason they do not post the prices on the outside. I ordered a cheeseburger medium well. The meat was actually mooing when I got it. Burger was $18, and the most unappetizing I have ever eaten. Yes, I did eat it because I was afraid not too. My mom and I shared it and the waiter told us, as he handed me the check, "I did not charge you the fee for sharing a meal." Geez thanks. J

Went in to order just a slice of cheesecake for takeout. After being hit with an $11 tab for just a piece of cake I nearly waited 15 minutes when the place was pretty dead. They require you to pay a cashier who is in a different booth from the takeout server, so of course when I see my cheesecake ready the server doesn't believe me when I say that's my cake. Thankfully the manager was near by to back me up. Some of the worst service and beware of the unfriendliness
