    Great find!

    It was a great surprise to find this unpretentious Village restaurant ... but with excellent food and perfect service. It was a wonderful palate experience, with exciting mixes of flavors and textures. Innovative produces that you can't easily find in many restaurants around the city. Like the Bone Marrow paired with Baby Octopus or the Pork Belly Ceviche... The attention throughout the meal was very professional, and I certainly appreciated that they did not ask we how were enjoying our food when we had your mouth full! :) They waited for the right moment to pick up the plates without intruding in the conversation —neither pressuring one to finish or leaving the finished courses unattended. The decor is cute, intimate, eclectic and pleasant as well as the music. Perfect volume to enjoy a romantic dinner!

    A wonderful meal

    I was really looking forward to this place and was not disappointed - all the food was elegant and incredibly well executed. The quail and sizzling pork fat were particular standouts. I'm so excited to have found this place. Highly recommended.

    A real find

    Without question the best restaurant meal I've had this year! This simple place just south of Houston serves what they call French/Vietnamese food, which means a blend of western technique and Asian spices but with exceptional desserts. Like Vong was, only better. Add a phenomenal wine list and charming service, and I can't wait to go back. Try it: you'll love it.

    Under the radar, not for long

    We just had the most amazing dinner. I can only hope not too many people read this. We'd like to keep this gem to ourselves. Vietnamese sausage appetizer on a licorice stick (yes, a real twig of licorice) -- unbelievable! Pork belly entree, off the charts. My wife had the lamb. So incredibly tender. And our desserts... oh my! Foie gras with ice cream and a beautiful menagerie of other tasty delights that was the capper to a great, great meal. Fantastic service by a truly knowledgeable waitress made for a perfect evening.
