The chicken is the best I've ever had; the service is warm, attentive and casual. But by the time we four finished our main courses we were out of there because of the impossible din. Granted, a bistro shouldn't be hushed, but we had to scream across the table (adding, of course, to the noise.) Too bad.

I finally tried this restaurant after many failed attempts since it has become very popular. It was very good. We had the coconut mussels (AMAZING!!!), the chicken provencal was terrific, my husband had the quail which was very special and divine. We tasted the potatoes and spinach as well... all great. The place has very warm and refined service. Everyone is super nice. The drinks were great as well. Love the ambience as well. Great job Georgette!

Ironic- the namesake dish is its least good. The $72 rotisserie chicken ( our table had two) has a dry breast and is of a quality found at at least a dozen decent retail emporia in NYC. Just not special. Great saladeG, mushrooms and apple tartin. Terrible overpriced wine list.
