Roti Roll Bombay Frankie

We were excited to order these roti rolls. Had to call a couple times to get someone on the line. Delivery was fast though. The roti roll? I couldn't even eat it personally, despite my love of new and different foods. I have eaten Indian food in India, though not roti rolls, and comparatively found this stuff inedible. Sorry to say. I really wanted to like it!

Uh, I went to write this place a good review and then I found out that they deliver?! Oh glorious day! Anyway, Roti Roll is both delicious and super-fast. I've gone there a couple of times when I was either broke or just really, really hungry and needing food in my mouth ASAP. If you're hungry and poor, but don't want to eat garbage, come to Roti Roll. The prices are excellent and you don't have to worry about not getting enough to eat. If you don't eat meat, there's some good veggie options for you, too, so you won't have to mope in the corner while your friends are stuffing their greedy faces with savory meats. Oh, and get the fries. I have no idea what's on them, but they rock.

Sometimes I go twice in one week. Spicy Indian food meets burrito. Hits the spot every time. Grab a Roti Roll to go and eat it in the park. You won't be disappointed!

Been here a few times for take out and the rolls are pretty good. Cheap & fast, no frills, but good. So good in fact, that I just had a craving for one and decided to call for delivery. Roti Roll is on 109th & Amsterdam, I live on 113th & Frederick Douglass Blvd.... 2 ave's & 4 streets away! So I was a little surprised when they said the would not deliver to my address. They went on to say that they deliver from 95th st to 125 st, Central Park West to Riverside. Keeping in mind that Frederick Douglass Blvd is actually the same exact Ave as CPW (the name just changes north of 110th st), I found it a little interesting that they refused me delivery. I will never patronize these guys again, but I hope for everyone else's sake (and their own) they stick to cooking for and delivering food to people in the neighborhood.

The roti bread used on the wrap is so yummy buttery and absolutely scrumptous. Highly recommended for on the go. It is currently my favorite lunch meal.

Maybe this place isn't authentic, but the flavors are good and the green chutney is plenty spicy. The bread was tasty, not greasy, and the size was perfect for a snack or light meal on the go. That's perfect, since the space isn't worthy of a sit down meal. I was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back.
