I went to this place from all the raves reviews from all the yelpers. I went in for a vegetable and chicken roti. What i got was a tortilla (that you use for quesadillas) with hugely sliced green peppers, chunky onions, salty chick peas (channa) and something that looked like potato. Being of west indian descent i was very sadden, pissed off, and disappointed to know that you guys are trying to sell the public tortillas instead of authentic roti. How long does it take to make roti? Not long at all. If you are going to claim that you are making roti then be honest and sell the real thing. What makes matters worse is that the lady that served me was from the caribbean. I will never go back here or tell people to go here. What a waste of money!

healthy food
All I can tell is that the food there is freshly made. I know the roti is not traditional trinadadian roti which everything is curry stewed. But their roti is taste clean with added spicy curry sauce, instead, their Chicken is grilled like chipolet's. It may taste a little bit plain for you if you don't ask for more sauce. The fried rice and dumplings are very good, definitely better than your neighborhood chinese take out. all in all, nothing to compain but the delivery may take time. Hope they can keep the quality of the food. We need it in this neighborhood.

I love their dumplings
It's Japanese style and it's healthy; not too salty but tastes good, the chicken fried rice is also the best in this neighborhood. Price is cheap and service is good!

No!
I ordered from this place because I was too lazy to go to Bed Stuy to get Ali's. Big mistake. Roti is only roti in the technical sense. bland. avoid if you actually like roti.

a discover in prospect park area
I found this newly opened roti dumpling house in my prospect park neighborhood and pleased with their food. Chicken roti is tasty and chinese dumplings are delicious. Not sure how these two foods have come together, but I like their slogan" healthier and fresher". This neighborhood needs exactly this kind of business , oh, did i mention how cheap the foods are? maybe not proper to call it "cheap", but reasonable. a &6.75 combo includes a roti, 3 dumplings, a soup, a green tea and a small salad. I sometimes share this combo with a friend. the restaurant looks clean and bright, the service is good, but it takes time to get food prepared, guess that's the sign of freshfood being provided. Worth every penny.
