We went because of rest. wk. We were greeted & asked where we would like to sit.We picked a booth, but the hostess did not pull out the table ,so we had to slide in. It was a warm day and the AC was not working fully, so the rest. was uncomfortable. On the positive side, the food was very good,so was the service. We had a 2PM reservation, so by around 2:45 I felt we were being rushed since we were the only 2 left in the dinning room. Restaurant was geared more toward male clients- wood panelling etc. If it was not for rest. wk I would not go back, since regular menu was pricey

I work nearby and eat here fairly often with a co-worker or for a business lunch. I even take myself to lunch sometimes when I need a total break from the office. I find the food consistently delicious and the service very friendly and efficient. My absolute favorite is the Tuna over Wasabi mash potatoes. Just planning lunch with an out-of-town guest and deciding this is the best choice. Enjoy!

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. We never sat down to have dinner because we were greeted by 2 surly front of house people that would scare anyone away. He was an arrogant twit and she was a his female counterpart! I am a New Yorker who has lived here my entire life and have never experiance such rude front of house people in my life....I have been there many times and I will never go back!

Have eaten here a few times. Each time was great. From the porterhouse for two, to the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Decent selection of wines. I actually like their porterhouse over Wolfgangs. Tried the dessert only once (which was standard), as I always manage to stuff myself before getting to that part. Drinks at the bar aren't bad either. Service is good, not the best. Could be a bit more 'elegant' if you know what I mean. Only other complaint is that $4 something for tea, and they give you Lipton. Come on, you can do better than that. Otherwise has been fairly consistent. Try not to go during busy times, as the business crowd makes it packed... and for good reason.

The place was recommended by a good friend and he wasn't wrong. From the bar (Mike) to the Manager (Mike), to the server (Nick), we had a wonderful, if somewhat pricey, night. But I wasn't into scrimping nickels, so we dove in. My son, his friend, my wife and I had a meal fit for a classic NYC Steakhouse. The ambiance, the folks we met at the bar (Allen, Christy), everything was on point, on time and the service and courtesy was FAB, end of story......

This restaurant has lost its way and gone downhill in terms of food quaility. The first time (18 months ago) I went here, it was the best steak I've had, but my recent trip was one of the worst! What has happened here?! The steak was dry, rather tastless. The 5 hour lamb was so-so, the veggies and sides were salty as hell.. I looked around and saw many half-eaten steaks being cleaned up after customers have finished eating... i just shook my head and wondered what the hell happened since last time

We have been to a few steak houses in the city, and found our favorites for the steaks have been between here and Ruth's Chris....I personally like this place better...its cozy, usually not overwhelmingly crowded and the food is always amazing! You HAVE to get the bacon and asiago mashed potatoes here...they are to die for! The only critisizm I have is that the last couple of times my steak was under cooked and I had to send it back....but that tends to happen a lot with the Filet Mignon.....I would recommend this steak house!
