This has been a favorite local spot since it opened. I was most impressed with the commitment to quality from the beginning. The environment is warm and friendly. The wine menu encourages experimentation given sll bottles are priced the same - a genius design. And Daniel has a wonderful nose for pairing. However, I was mostly shocked when one of the signature pasta dishes (the cavetelli) was drastically changed and not for the better. I do encourage change, but when it's not broke - then don't fix it. Other than the chefs poor judgement on this point, the place is well worth the visit.

I went to Rosemary's and because I was alone and wanted to sample the food, I ate at the bar. I must say the Bartender was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. He made the whole experience fun and memorable. The food is very good but being served by someone who truly puts their heart into their work made the experience outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was absolutely amazing! I can't think of one negative remark about this place. Freshest herbs & greens, homemade mozzarella & pasta. A little hot, but that could have been due to the red wine. Delicious!

We loved: 1) The atmosphere: the boisterous environment of the room was intoxicating and exciting as soon as we walked in, and remained until we left (probably as long as the walk home). Despite the busy crowd, a personal conversation does not require yelling or close talking, and the busy area benefits the Italian-style stand up appetizers/beverage bar. 2) The service: everyone was extremely nice, and knowledgeable. Our waitress could not have been sweeter, and by simply looking at my wife's wine, she knew exactly what she was having. The bartender even broke down the wine options to facilitate my decision (I am far from a wine connoisseur), just as effortlessly as he maneuvered the busy bar area. 3) The food: unreal. I don’t usually over order, but I’m glad I did last night. The focaccia was unbelievable (the tomato, mozzarella, and basil came to work with me the next day) and we ended up ordering two types. My wife had a salad which she demolished before my eyes, and washed it down with mustard seed-seasoned brussel sprouts. I had the pasta pomodoro and the skirt steak. The pasta was light but flavorful, and my wife helped cleaned my plate. And the steak was perfectly cooked (rare) and the arugula/potato mix was right on key. We liked: 1) Flow/dispersion – crowded and busy bar, which although was tough to find a spot to call your own, it still had the gravity to pull us and everyone in close – even though there was ample room around it. We felt close with our neighbors, but not on top of them. It had the open feel of a huge restaurant, but still the intimidate feel of a 10 table dive. 2) The wine selection – although my wife is much more educated in this department than I am, it was easy to select wine off the menu and navigate to a logical next choice (obviously verifying our choice with our waitress). 3) The prices – I was shocked. I expected to eat-in for the next few weeks, but looking down the menu and even after taking the bill – I couldn’t believe how much we ate and how happy I was to pay for it. The Obvious: Amenities - The upstairs garden and the transition from the garden to the restaurant is beautiful. The fact that most ingredients come directly from upstairs is a characteristic that is unique and fun to be a part of. I love a good, clean bathroom and this was probably one of the coolest set ups for a lavatory I’ve seen. ----------- Thanks for a great evening!

What a fabulous addition to the neighborhood! After walking by and wondering what they were working on the scaffolded corner of west 10th and Greenwich ave I was blown away when this gorgeous space was revealed. And the rooftop garden was the icing on the cake! Way to go! I've now been to Rosemary's a couple of times since it's opened. The staff is so friendly and cool. I love all the fresh vegetable antipasti dishes - especially the radish dish and the caponata. The pork dish is to die for - my favorite so far. And my husband swears by the cheese focaccia. You also have to try the rooftop salad with fresh vegetables from their roof... The space is so open and light and filled with a lot of pretty people (especially women, hint hint!) Go before it get's so popular you can't get in... It's bound to happen.

Was told my table for 6 would only be a few minutes wait - ended up being way over an hour. Once we finally got seated, they ran out of food. Poor management. We were rushed once we were seated and the food was nothing special. Way too hyped up.
