small, cramped and non-accomodating
I've come here several times because I have friends who want vegan-friendly/vegetarian-friendly food. I always found the food fairly mediocre, almost tasteless in way, but didn't mind going because my friends were coming from Manhattan, so I deferred to them. I just got off the phone with a hostess with a French accent who bordered on rude when I called to inquire about seating for a larger group. I will be taking my business elsewhere because there is absolutely no reason to go now. Food - not good; service - even worse.

Families Beware!
Children are not welcomed! Came here 2x. First time, treated courteously when it was just my husband and I. Thinking the food was fairly good, we recommended it to our friends. Second time, we went on a rainy day, brought are friends and children. TRANSFORMATION! REALITY CHECK! The staff was rude and were only willing to serve us outside their soaking patio. Then, the manager literally stated," This is not a baby friendly place!". It would have been nice if they hung a "No children allowed" sign so we would know better. You can bet we'll never step foot here again, let alone recommend it to any more friends.

Way overpriced - burnt food - so many better restaurants in Park Slope!
This place is WAY overpriced for what you get. First - it took forever just to get a glass of wine or the check when we wanted to leave. Then - my main dish was BURNT. Did they mean to burn the sides? I think so - it is a feature of the food.... Not a feature I like. I would not have minded so much if the prices were not so high. And the whole organic thing that causes them to price the dishes so high... is a joke. There are several restaurants in Brooklyn that only use organic food and do not charge you double the price for it.

Just love it
I have been there only a couple of times, but I really enjoyed it. The concept (local food), the food!! Totally worth it!

brunch = huge disappointment
Three of us went for brunch on Saturday and were faced with a menu that announced that if we didn't order the $14 prix fixe (choice of entree, nonalcoholic drink), we'd have to meet a $14/persona minimum anyway. WTF. Food was subpar - bacon both fatty and burnt, so smokey it almost made us gag. Strawberry pancakes had a giant hunk of unpleasant cinnamon butter on top. Shakshouka was bland and the chickpeas tasted canned. Service was friendly, if a bit rushed. But the dollar/delicious index wasn't up to par. We won't be back.

Very good seasonal food
I went here randomly for dine-in bk, and was pleasantly surprised. The celery root soup was savory without being overly creamy. The fiddleheads and nettles were a new treat. The caramelized brioche was also fantastic. Can't wait to try the brunch here.
