    Average food

What's the fuss about? The food is average at best. I have tasted better Mexican food at take out joints. Definitely not worth what they charge.

    Awesome! Must go!

I came here twice this month with friends. We loved it. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. Both times, service was attentive, tableside guac was the best I ever had, ahi tuna salad so fresh and delicious with mango. I'll just say the dinner portions of guac are larger than at lunch. Same as the salad, but I'm not complaining. Items cost more at dinner. Why not just make everything one price?

    Rude and unprofessional service

I ate here a while ago with one other person and enjoyed it enough. Although the food was overpriced, I considered it for a dinner for a large party since it is very spacious. The hostess was very rude and unprofessional and completely unwilling to accomodate a large group. She informed me that we had to order the food in advance and that we could not order off the menu. Instead we would be forced to order family style days in advance. And they wanted to charge $50 per person for this excluding drinks!! Instead we went to Dos Caminos and had a great time. We were treated with respect by professional staff and were able to order whatever we wanted. I will never return to Rosa Mexicano again!

    Worst Food and Service Ever!

My husband and I joined another couple for dinner on Saturday evening. When we got there the wait was 1hour so we hung out at the bar. Finally when our table was available not a single server was available to bring our drinks and pitcher to our table. When we arrived at the hostess desk for our table we waited for at least another ten minutes - I asked if there was a problem and they said they were putting our table together...what is to put together? the tables are squares with seating for four I've never been to a restuarant that takes that long to set a table. They were perfectly capable of seating other parties of four who showed up after us. Once seated, the hostess failed to bring enough menus and never returned with additional menus - she was only standing next to the pile of menus when she greeted us. I ordered the snapper and the fish was covered in a paste about 1/2 an inch thick and it smelled and tasted fishy. The entire meal was over priced. Then the fire alarms blared for over 10 minutes. There's nothing Mexican about the menu. And the drinks are weak. This place is comletely overrated and a total let down.

    Disappointing.

Had a 9:15 reservation and arrived with my entire party of four at about 9:19. Despite initially being told "5 or 10 minutes", we waited until after 10 for our table and another 15 to encounter a waiter. Can you imagine not even having a sip of water until over an hour after your reservation? Annoying. The food was tasty, the drinks were outstanding, and the ambiance is breathtaking. Still, between the rocky start and the are-you-kidding-me bill, I doubt I'll give this place a second shot. Sad-- I had really been looking forward to trying it.

    Over hyped

This place is way over hyped. Food is mediocre and NOT cheap. The margaritas were awful! If I wanted a straight tequila I would have ordered it. They make you wait even with many open tables to get you to have a drink at the bar. Waitstaff thinks they are too good to be servers. I know everyone has a bad day but it just felt like that was the attitude of everyone. I had a much better experience at the mid town location.

Greatfood, but waited 1 hr 10 mins to be seated

Four friends went, with an 8:00 rez on a rainy Tuesday night. We didn't get seated until 9:10, although they kept saying a table would be ready "in 10 mins" and that they would "take care of us". They explained that a number of tables had finished eating, paid their bills and were lingering. The host/hostess explained they do not ask them to move on. Well, I for one won't be back to this location. Tis a shame because the food was fabulous, although if you want to talk you can forget it: the noise level is very, very high. When the bill came no one did "take care of us", although my friend reminded our server and an adjustment to the bill was made.
