Terrific
Had a perfect dinner last night. Everything was perfect!

Que horror!
I have been a big fan of Rosa Mexicano on the UWS and UES and was excited to finally have one closer to my apt. I have been to this location a few times and the service is not very good .. the food was good as always but the atmosphere and people are less than desirable!

Good
I visited this mexican restaurant with six friends which are all from mexico. We loved the food! It is one of the best mexican restaurants we have ever tried here in NY. The price was normal, just like anything you would find in NY.

Disappointed
I disagree with bringing friends. I was with a party of seven and they made us wait until the dinner rush was almost entirely over to accommodate us, making excuse after excuse. Food was so-so. Our server recommended two double guacomoles and it was almost $60. A little ridiculous for guac. Drinks were just ok, and service was clumsy and inattentive.

Make it easier-bring friends!
I get it...they just opened. It will be busy . My boyfriend & I went there on a Saturday night & waited 2 hours for a table after being told it would be a hour. The waiting was not the issue but the fact that there are only 8 tables in the entire restaurant for 2 people. The menu in comparison to Dos Caminos was broader and the food was very comparable. So bring your friends if you want to get seated faster & enjoy a nice new atmosphere in the Flatiron area.
