A local gem
Delicious, consistent, inexpensive food; laid-back, welcoming atmosphere; terrific coffee and chai. What's not to love?

best "fast food" on grand!
delicious homemade gourmet "streetfood" Also has amazing value on beer and wine. Microbrew bottles for $5?!

You won't be dissappointed! Great find
Stopped by here on a cold night in February to stay warm by chance, and I was happy I ended up here. Great selection of international beers! I tried a couple of beers I've never heard of, and my girlfriend got the hot chocolate that she said was really good. Plan on going again sometime soon. Only negative is that it is located very out of the way for me. Seems to be for the locals in the LES.

Great Street Food!
This place sells street food... a weird mix of burgers, Vietnamese sandwiches and authentic Mexican tacos. I'm in love with both the Vietnamese sandwiches and the tacos (haven't tried the burgers yet). Definitely worth the $5.50 for sandwiches and $2 for tacos... clean, simple, quality food.

Great, Comfortable, Tasty Cafe
I go to Roots and Vines regularly, often several times a week. Everything on their menu is incredibly delicious. The menu is limited, but this is not surprising for food at a cafe, and again it is very tasty. Ambiance is nice, and there is wireless and convenient electrical outlets throughout for working on your laptop. Pretty great.
