Yummy food, poor moods
Just went to Root Hill Cafe for the first time today. The decor was inviting and unique. The menu was small - not an extensive brunch menu if that's what you're looking for - but good for a basic bite and a coffee while doing work. The food was very good - very nice quality ingredients used and the best bacon of my life. However, the staff was on edge and seemed flustered. They were bickering with each other at one point and the underlying tone of frustration extended to their interactions with us, their customers. It wasn't bad but it wasn't cute either. That said, it's a nice option in the area for good food, good coffee, free wifi and cute decor.
